What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"The coffee is... interesting. It is unlike traditional espresso and latte drinks, which is suspect is due to the Indonesian beans. It doesn't have that "coffee" taste but instead an earthy and slightly herbal taste, like a tea. It was tasty, just not what I expected. But that doesn't make it bad. Now that I know what it is, I would definitely return, but perhaps not when I'm craving a coffee fix. The interior is lovely. It has a retro Asian theme with posters of old cigarette ads and other things, and a brown/wooden theme that feels like you stepped back in time. I liked it."
"A Wonderful, Calm Coffee Spot Such a peaceful and cozy coffee shop — a perfect place to sit down, relax, and soak in the calm atmosphere. The music is just right, the coffee is amazing, and the whole vibe invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. The service is pleasant and unobtrusive, which makes the experience even better. Bravo!"
"We came by for some coffee because all the nice yelp reviews caught our eyes. This is a Malaysian style coffee stall. I love the vintage decorations. It reminded me when I visited Asia. We ordered Horlicks, putu, and dirty Milo. We also got a pandan flavored pastry, and they can warm it up for you if preferred. Staff were attentive and friendly. The coffee is strong enough that can help me get through the day. Putu coffee has a good pandan flavor, which is a perfect match to the coffee. Horlicks and dirty Milo are very similar in my opinion. They tasted like mocha, but not an exactly because it also has a hint of saltiness to it. The pastry was a disappointment that it was tasteless. Highly recommending the coffee, but not the pastry. Will come back for more coffee."
"The recent price hike from $6 to $8 or $8.5 on most items is hard to justify, especially since the portion sizes haven't changed. The drinks were good, but not good enough to warrant the new prices. The server's unfriendly demeanor and lack of knowledge about the matcha drinks didn't help. We're rethinking how often we visit because of these issues."
"Here’s your review for Uncle Feng’s Coffee Stall — polished up for Yelp/Google, keeping your natural voice, flow, and friendly tone: ⸻ I was looking for a coffee spot I don’t have near my house in OC and was happy to be staying in LA for the weekend — that’s how I found Uncle Feng’s Coffee Stall. They have a bunch of Asian-inspired drinks, and the inside is so cute. Parking’s a bit tricky — we passed it at first and had to loop around and walk through the back lot, but it wasn’t too bad once we figured it out. The staff was friendly and the drinks were good. The pastries caught my eye — things I’ve never seen before and definitely want to come back to try. We didn’t eat since we were heading out to brunch, but we grabbed a couple of drinks and both loved what we got. There were a few people just hanging out, sipping coffee, and relaxing — perfect morning vibe. I’d definitely come back to try more drinks and those pastries next time."
"My husband got the Milo dinosaur. He said it was pretty authentic Malaysian standards. I got the Pandan coffee Putu coffee. Pretty good. Long line and it..."
