What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"My wife Maria and I had a wonderful experience at this place. We ordered a latte and a hot chocolate, which were delicious, and we were able to enjoy the back of the coffee shop, which has a large balcony overlooking the lake. We had the pleasant and enjoyable experience of meeting the owner (Kurt) of the place by chance, who is a great person. He was attentive and kind, we talked about the area and about life, and he recommended a good hiking trail nearby. (Willow Creek/Angel Fall) Fully recommend this place for an excellent experience. Thank you, and see you next time."
"My wife and I and our boys love Bass Lake, in fact, it could be our favorite place on earth. Recently we went up and we’re staying in the chalets at the Pines resort and while we were up there daydreaming, we were talking about the little downtown area. I mentioned to her that I thought the only thing missing was a good coffee shop. The next morning we went down after lunch and snow play and were walking by the pizza spot (amazing too!) and stumbled upon Nurture! Not sure if it is new or not, if not I have no clue how we missed this for so many years but hey, better late than never they say! Anyway, as soon as we found this place we went in and it is totally awesome. The only issue I have is that they took away my plan to move to Bass Lake and open my own little business. Hahaha. But hey, you beat me to it and you’re killing it because the drinks were phenomenal and the kids absolutely loved the pastries. We thought the atmosphere was awesome, Shop was clean, and service was great. Hands-down, an amazing little coffee shop nestled up in the woods of beautiful Bass Lake. Next time you’re in town, check them out."
"It’s a saddest tiniest and tasteless avocado toast I’ve ever had, and at $10! The coffee is okayish after you add a third shot, doesn’t look like the one they put on photos - don’t expect artisan foam patterns."
"Good coffee beans and espresso machine make delicious coffee. Muffins were great too."
"Nice little spot and friendly staff. :) Coffee is pretty good and the chocolate chip muffin was delish."
"Food: We went here for breakfast and we got breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, avocado toast and it was all so good. Drinks: We only got iced tea and hot..."
