from Google"Love this place! Stopped by Jane Marin Bakery and instantly fell in love with the cozy vibe and amazing selection. My friend picked up a delicious loaf of banana bread, and it was absolutely perfect — moist, flavorful, and fresh out of the oven. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and everything smells incredible. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who loves freshly baked treats."
"Ideally, I'd give Jane/Marin a 3.5/5. Jane/Marin offers a convenient location for a coffee and pastry break. Nestled in a strip mall with various stores, Jane/Marin provides a casual atmosphere for a quick bite. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a plus. The bakery itself is quite colorful and cheerful. The flower pots outside and the bright green chairs create a vibrant first impression. Inside, the wall art explodes with shades of yellow, orange, and red. However, a minor quirk – finding the restroom can be a bit of a challenge. They don't have a dedicated public restroom, but the staff will kindly point you towards one in the back office if you ask. Jane/Marin offers a classic selection of bakery treats – biscuits, cupcakes, croissants, muffins, breads - you name it. They also have a full coffee and tea menu. My friend tried their turmeric latte and a sweet treat (the name escapes me). Unfortunately, the pastry was quite hard and needed reheating, and he wasn't a huge fan of the flavor either. His turmeric latte also seemed light on the turmeric, tasting more like steamed milk. On the other hand, my experience was much better. I ordered a chai latte and their banana bread. The staff was very friendly and readily warmed up the banana bread for me. It was absolutely delicious – light, delicate, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. I should have grabbed a slice to go! My chai latte was good, with a nice chai flavor that wasn't overpowering. However, it did have a lot of froth, which can be a bit much for some. Overall, Jane/Marin offers a decent selection of coffee and pastries in a cheerful setting. The staff is friendly, and the banana bread is a must-try. However, there's room for improvement with some menu items, and the lack of a dedicated restroom can be a bit inconvenient. If you're in the area and looking for a casual coffee break, it's worth a visit, but keep your expectations in check."
"For 30 years, Michelle Mason at Jane (formerly Sweet Things) has been making and decorating our families’ cakes for all occasions. They are always delicious, but Michelle’s artistry blows us away. In addition to being an incredible artist, Michelle has a unique talent for coming up with creative ideas. My husband and I share a birthday, and because he was turning 81 and me 75, I suggested she write, “Happy Birthday to Us.” Michelle asked me about our hobbies and interests and proceeded to create the cake in this photo, complete with logos of our favorite stores, pictures of our hobbies, names of family members, and the Buckeye, where we had the luncheon . Thank you, Michelle and all of the bakers at Jane, for giving cake- joy to our community!"
"Downhill slide from Sweet Things. I heard they received many of the same recipes when the bakery was turned over but all the love is gone. So disappointing. Dry bakery goods, unappealing layout and unenthusiastic staff. Sad. Hope it’s replaced with someone who has a bit more motivation."
"Great pies, certain staff very uptight and old lady charged me a pastry but never actually gave it to me. Again, good stuff but not worth the hassle or outright disrespect"
