"I live just a five minute walk from this eclectic coffee shop and park that has become like a second home. It seriously feels like a magical little pocket of Middle-earth, straight out of The Lord of the Rings. If you’re visiting, it’s an absolute must-see. I’m convinced it’s one of the most diverse coffee shops in the country, and it’s definitely one of the best places in Berkeley to strike up a conversation that somehow turns into hours of deep, philosophical discussion. It’s also the perfect place to either get work done, or just relax, unwind, and meditate under the trees. I’ve had some of my most unexpected, soul-expanding conversations here, often with strangers who feel instantly familiar. It’s hands down one of the most alive and welcoming spots I’ve ever known."

"☕️ 🍵 🌳 Charming small cafe with delicious drinks. The coffee is good and the turmeric latte is a great no caffeine option. Inside is small and usually packed. There is seating outdoors as well as a huge grassy field. Especially on a good weather day, it’s a ‘sticks place to be. It’s the perfect place to relax or meet a friend for coffee. Parking can be challenging but there’s usually a spot down the road or around the corner (both paid and non-paid)."

"This café is right across from a small park, which gives it a really nice vibe. We usually go for the tea and coffee—not so much for the cakes or pastries, which are just okay. The menu is small, the drinks are good, and the view of the park makes it a great spot, especially on sunny days. It does get pretty crowded."

"The best oat cappuccino I've had in the Bay Area. The baristas are super friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy, both inside and outside - surrounded by greenery all around. I went back two days in a row, and if I lived nearby, this place would definitely be my second home."
