"I brought my work with me while I waited for my friends surgery and found this shop right up the street. What a lovely surprise to have found a cool chill place to work. It was raining this day so the vibe was perfect. There is only one strip outlet but there is multiple plug ins so that’s a plus! The egg and cheese croissant was crispy and my first bite I was actually surprise to like the sun-dried tomatoes in the egg-llet? Lol It was really good and I began to enjoy it the more I bit into it."

As soon as a table became available inside, the person behind the counter promptly cleaned it and even invited me to come inside, it’s like she knew it’s what I preferred. The ambiance is perfect for a variety of patrons. Families gather here to enjoy coffee and conversation, often with children in tow. Professionals take calls and work on their laptops, creating a bustling yet relaxed atmosphere. The coffee and pastries are simply amazing. Each sip and bite offers a delightful taste experience, making it clear why this place is a local favorite. The interior is beautifully designed, exuding a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. "Black Canvas could have been the best coffee shop in the area if their customer service had not been unkind! I said that because a few weeks ago, my husband and I went to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and we were excited to enjoy our brunch. When our orders were ready, two different waitresses came to us and dropped the plates in front of us. The first waitress called out my husband’s order and delivered it with an angry expression and unfriendly manner, putting his food on the table. A few minutes later, another one did the same with my order. I had never experienced such treatment at other restaurants and coffee shops, and It was very disappointing for me. Since I work in customer service area, I understand they might have been busy with orders and other things. However, my disappointment came from the fact that no one apologized or acknowledged our presence, and they seemed very dissatisfied that we were seated outside. Unfortunately, my experience was not as positive as I expected though. While their food and drinks are great, their prices seem unfair due to rude customer service. I hope they can use this review to improve their customer service manner."

"I am an avid matcha drinker and this is by far the best matcha I have ever had. The rose water recipe is incredible!! I could decide what to eat so we all ordered something different and shared. Açaí, avocado bagel, omelette and almost croissant were delicious!! The açaí was a big size. Reasonable prices Clean bathroom WiFi connection was great Easy parking Nice staff Big windows for great natural light. Fresh smell from all the real plants Didn’t mention the matcha? THE BEST"

"Really well designed and inviting coffee shop with food. Employees are very nice and professional. Coffee is good but perhaps not quite as smooth as I would like. Weekdays are quite busy, weekends are very quiet. Tables, booths, and bench seating. Lots of cool plants inside. Street parking."
