"We decided to try this place for breakfast after reading some good reviews , but honestly, it was just okay. The food wasn’t bad, but nothing really stood out ,pretty average overall. The service could’ve been better too; our server seemed a bit rushed and not very accommodating. We were seated right by the front door, and every time it opened, a cold draft came in. When we asked to move, the server told us we’d have to wait again and mentioned they “should have warned us” about that seat ,which didn’t help much. If there isn’t a line, it might be fine for a quick bite, but for how long the wait can get, it’s really not worth it. IMO"

"This place is one of the best breakfast spots in town. It’s always packed but if you can get in it’s totally worth the wait. Staff is super sweet, food comes out quickly and is hot, super rad atmosphere with the stickers and dollars on the walls. One of favs to stop when we’re in town."

"They were so busy today for Christmas eve service and they were all working so hard trying to accommodate everyone as soon as possible. You guys have a great team of people working together! "They make a delicious from scratch waffle. Crispy on the outside, light, hot, and fluffy inside, and tender enough to cut with the side of the fork. The waitress recommended the sausage patty - they are made fresh every day. This was so good. This was a fun place. It was very much worth the drive. If you know when you'll arrive, call ahead for reservations, else, enjoy the company while you wait at beautiful Big Bear Lake. The staff were polite, helpful, and friendly. I strongly recommend this cafe."
