"Ordered in. Mocha coffee and avocado toast w/bacon crumbles. Took unusually long for order to be ready. At least 15-20 minutes. There was only 1 person in front of me. Coffee came and then I waited for the 🥑 toast. Still waiting ..... went back to counter to inquire after around 18 minutes! A female employee asked if I'd like fork and knife - yes please. She brought me DIRTY flatware with thick chocolate fudge on bith sides of knife and the fork hadn't been washed. Handed it back and she didn't apologize. I opted for the plastic wrapped set. As I walked back to my seat I noticed the plate was severely chipped in two places on top and asked the same girl for a replacement plate. She was truly agitated for having to correct their error. She took the plate with my 🥑 toast and sat it down. Took another plate from the "kitchen" area and wiped it off with a lysol sanitizer wipe to give to me! I told her I'll just take a "to go box" . I asked her if she would or would she let her child eat off that broken plate & she said "I don't have kids"! She said she WOULD eat off the broken plate & didn't see that much of a problem. She went on to say the owners John & Leeann know the dishes are broken and know they're serving food on dirty and broken dishes. She also told me I could email the owners ...which I did. The 🥑 toast w/bacon crumbles was quite delicious, however, the service was horrific and unsanitary. For the prices to be higher than most competitors the lack of service and terrible disposition of the employee will make me second guess ever returning."

"Love coming to this place. Staff is amazing. Food and drinks are always good. I will still continue to go, but this last order, what happened to the avocado? The spread was thin. You can even see the bread. Don't get it confused by this post they usually have a good amount of avocado. I hope and wish it was a bad day. Don't skimp us on avocado 😢 I hope your serving amount didn't change."

"Try here if you are in Brentwood and want coffee. Their lattes were big and velvety. They have a spacious indoor seating area and outdoor seating area. The card decks on the table could be additional fun."

"I used to love coming here but it’s just not consistent anymore. Waffle is hard as a rock and even though I ask for my drink extra hot it’s lukewarm at best. Not sure what happened but it’s definitely not worth the $ anymore."

"Big Bean has great coffee and also the avocado toast is a must try. Big tables to sit down and they also have a nice outdoor seating area as well. Next time you need a morning boost come check out Big Bean!"
