from Google & Yelp"Arrived right at opening at 9 AM on a weekday. So many tables and different seating options - about 4 large booths, TONS of smaller tables and additional couch like seating. Beautiful interior and very well designed. Really enjoyed the colorful atmosphere and retro feel. Loved how unique the ordering process was. There were rows of fresh made pastries, and desserts to choose from. Walk up to the order counter and pick out your pastry + request your drink. You are then given a buzzer that goes off when your drink is ready at the pick up bar. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a strawberry Matcha. The croissant was really delicious with melted cheese and a perfectly flaky croissant - it was the perfect balance of savory with the tiniest bit of sweetness. I’m super critical about my Matcha and really was impressed with this one. Really well-made and perfect ratio of strawberry to beverage. The strawberry itself was super fresh tasting and the right amount of sweet. I usually prefer 50% sweet for my matchas, so if you’re like me, you might want to ask for less sweet here (if they even do that here?) Overall, really loved my experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a new café experience. Not super busy, and I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Amazing Work From Home / study spot on a weekday morning. There’s no public Wi-Fi as of right now, but the woman who took my order, said that “there will be soon”. I would normally knock down a star for that, but if it’s coming soon, I’ll leave it at 5 star!"
"Located at the Source, this place is massive. We saw it from the third floor and I thought it was some sort of food hall. Didn't' realize until we got there, it was a roastery and café. There's plenty of seating and there's room for more seating eventually or even a merch store. They clearly just opened recently. Service if friendly and they were very patient with our ordering since we couldn't find a drinks menu until we got to the counter. They should put more up around the place We tried the oreo cake, salted bun, and condensed milk loaf. The oreo cake is good, reminds me of a lighter black forest cake. Enjoyed the oreo cream, light and delicate. The chocolate salted bun and condensed milk loaf I had higher expectations for, but they're forgettable. The loaf is just a regular butter loaf with a glaze on top, nothing inside. Same with the chocolate salted bun, just a layer a chocolate on top. Lazy and actually makes it messy to eat as it melts. Drinks wise, there was a half-price drinks promotion going on so we tried a few drinks. Normally, I'd think the drink prices on the higher end, especially when you have so many options at the Source. Dalgona coffee is good. Nice texture and good coffee flavor Matcha einspanner was good too, the matcha comes through very well Peach iced tea was very sweet in a good way. Normally I don't like overly sweet drinks, but something about it made it taste really refreshing at the time we had it. Food and drinks are definitely on the higher end, and doesn't really match the quality. Overall, it's an okay option, decent food/drinks, lots of seating, but there's definitely a lot of competition at the Source."
"Such a spacious bakery with plenty of seats and tables. We bought 6 of their butter salt rolls (regular, matcha & squid ink) for $20. The rolls had a nice crunch on the outside and inside was soft and buttery. Their flavored rolls, you couldn't taste any difference though. Drinks were 50% off that day so we ordered the pineapple-ade and blueberry matcha latte. Their drinks were tasty. I would like to come back and try their other pastries."
"Sooo much ice. See pictures. 3 different times and each time the ice was at 50-75% full. I get it that they need to make a profit but how much can ingredients cost for drinks. It's the most profitable items in the food industry. I cant imagine coming here when their promotion ends. Their coffee are meh but the matcha is actually really good. I don't know if it's just me or what but their cup size seems smaller than other places. Atmosphere is nice and lots of places to sit but outlets limited. They obviously have wifi to run the cash register but won't share the password to the customers. 3 stars because it has potential and room for improvement."
"Went in for some pastries and drinks over the past few weeks and left impressed with the baked goods, but not so much with the drinks. The croissants were the star here—flaky, buttery, and filled just right. The coffee and matcha, though, were just okay—nothing bad, just didn’t wow me. 🧑💼👩💼 Service: Friendly and quick. Easy ordering and everything was neatly packaged for to-go. Rating: 4/5 for pastries, 2/5 for drinks. 📲 For more food finds and local gems, follow me on Instagram @joh.eats!"
