What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This is my favorite coffee shop in Burbank. The food and coffee are delicious. The customer service is exceptional. There’s plenty of seating for both individuals as well as larger groups. There’s a counter for seating as well. This is a great location to get a little bit of work done, or have a meeting. It’s also a fun place to eavesdrop on entertainment industry conversations. The day I was here there was a group of location Scouts talking about locations for different scenes of a popular TV series. There are cute little tables by the windows for one or two people. there’s decent Internet. But there are no outlets. There are also several tables outside with umbrellas for seating."
"Iced blueberry vanilla and nutty mocha coffee tasted good. The banana bread was moist. Good for small groups. Fast service. Available customer parking at the back."
"It's so rare to find a coffee shop like Priscilla's. Even before you walk through the front door, it feels like you're stepping into a time warp of some sort. I love places like this, where by going in and spending a few hard earned dollars, you feel transported to another time or place. Priscilla's is one of those places that feels like it's out of an author's mind. The service was exceptional, with thoughtful and engaging conversation with the proprietors; the drinks and the vegan breads were very well-made, but really the ambience is what sells the place. The location is perfect, a corner lot with large windows facing into the street, not too many pedestrians, but it's not empty either. It's just right. It's hard to quantify a place like this, you just have to visit it. It feels like it has been transplanted out of The British Isles. It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to visit again."
"Tucked away in the heart of Burbank, Priscilla’s Gourmet Coffee Tea & Gifts is a gem that feels like a warm hug from an old friend. I stopped by recently and ordered a café latte and a tea, and let me tell you, this place has soul. The coffee was rich and perfectly brewed, and the tea hit just the right spot. What really sets Priscilla’s apart, though, is the cozy, homey vibe—hands down the warmest I’ve felt in any café around here lately. The place has this charming history, starting as a tiny coffee shop in a converted 1919 brick gas station, and you can still feel that quirky, nostalgic charm in their “new” (since ’93!) spot. There’s plenty of seating, whether you want to soak up the sun on the sidewalk or cozy up inside with your laptop (yep, they’ve got free Wi-Fi!). The staff is super friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about the community—between their recycling efforts and charity work, they’re the kind of place that makes Toluca Lake feel like home. If you’re looking for a spot with killer coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and that rare, heartfelt vibe, Priscilla’s is where it’s at. Can’t wait to come back!"
"It's such a cute and quaint building with a lot of character. Garden murals along the walls, stained glass, a nook with artisan teas and coffees for sale, and outside area with neatly trimmed hedges. Their coffees are among the best in the area. I recently tried their Maple Dirty Chai and pumpkin latte and both were utterly delectable. Their cinnamon bun was dry and tasted old, however. Edible, but not really worth the price unless you get it fresh. There is plenty of seating between the exterior tables, interior tables, and bar. If you're coming here for business or anything reliant on laptops or internet, Pricilla's isn't ideal. There aren't many plug outlets and it can get noisy between the customers and music. They have a free open wifi but, with so many people sharing it, service drops very frequently and isn't reliable. Also, parking is a nightmare, but that speaks for the Taluca Lake in general."
"All I know is that I can't wait to come back here to try more of their drink items on their menu. They have an extensive menu and before I could even get..."
