"My husband and I went to Carmel Valley for our weekend getaway. We took a walk with our dog in the morning and found this place by accident. It turned out that we were very impressed with this little coffee and bakery place. Their strawberry shortcake was the best strawberry shortcake I’ve had. Every part of the cake was perfect. The cake, the whipped cream and the strawberries were so good and not too sweet. The banana bread pudding was very yummy. The vibe was very nice and casual. We could bring our dog inside. They also have some tables and chairs outside, too. If you are in Carmel Valley, you should visit the place."

The coffee and chai tea are excellent. Homemade jams are available to buy. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. It's a meeting point for the local community. If I lived here permanently, I would come here for breakfast every day."
