from Google & Yelp"Drove out 20+ miles to come here for a ToogoodToGo order. I am so glad I tried it out first. I got my goody bag, took one bite 🤩😍and marched right back in to order alot more. The banana pudding is absolutely amazing! The cookies were soft and fresh! Next time I go, I’m going to make sure I bring a cooler bag so I can buy more than enough banana pudding."
"Sweet Valentine shop is honestly a delight from the moment you step inside. The scent of fresh treats fills the room, and the space has a warm, colorful charm that instantly lifts your mood. I met Matthew, the creator of this place, and he has an inspiring journey that started long ago with a cherished southern recipe collection from his grandmother. Cathy at the counter greeted me with a kind smile and guided me through their most loved items, since it was my first visit. I needed a mix of treats for an office event, so their help was perfect. The nana cream dessert was stunning. The “cook it to me” cake slice was rich and dreamy. The toasted sugar pound cake was soft and heavenly. And every cookie disappeared instantly. I hoped to save a little for later, yet my coworkers finished everything in minutes—nothing remained. That alone says how good it all was. I will surely return to Sweet Valentine shop, not only for these treats again, yet also to try the warm cinnamon rolls calling my name and their coffee as well."
"Tonight was my first time checking it out after getting food next door from Subway. There wasn't no one other customer inside. I greeted the female employee and told her I was checking out what was good. She offered me a free sample chocolate chip 🍪. I got me a banana 🍌 pudding even though I wanted a sweet potato pie 🥧 which was sold out 🥺. It was near closing time so no biggie. She rang me up. The restroom was nice and clean. I was impressed despite it being pricey to me. My opinions! Don't come at my neck 😂 Anyway I recommend this a visit 🫶."
"First time visit and last for this Carson resident👎🏽!!! I decided to check it out after I left pescador having lunch yesterday. I will start by saying there's a Asian lady (manager) sitting in the front on the phone and when you walk in she doesn't even greet you or even look up at you to acknowledge that you just walked in the store, it took the girl behind the counter to greet us with a hello welcome and offering us a cookie! Now concerning the bake goods, coconut cake was excellent and soft and had a great taste and the cookies were good to! But the peach cobbler was just okay it could use a lot more flavor IMHO, especially compared to Mama Helen peach cobbler I get from the Thursday Farmers market at the Carson Mall. So... I asked for a fresh cinnamon roll which I thought was fresh but the next day I tried cutting it in half for my Mom's breakfast treat it was hard and a rock and the butter knife couldn't cut it I have to use a steak knife to actually get through it! We're not even going to try the banana pudding we're going to give it away as a gift 🎁. Overall it's over priced and not as good as people were making it out to be when I was reading all the post about this new bakery. It's sad that this black owned place is not what you expect it to be especially when it comes to customer service which is #1 in my book."
"It's a great place to visit when trying to satisfy your sweet tooth. Very easy place to find and plenty of parking. A welcoming place, greeted with a free cookie when you walk in. There are plenty of choices to get, from cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, to pies and banana pudding. Friendly customer service, answering any question you have. They even have bulk options for any event. For those who like their sweets a little less sweet, they even have options on their frosting, if you want less or more or even on the side for you to enjoy. I recommend the cinnamon rolls with light frosting, it is sure to satisfy. Don't forget $2 tuesday, any flavors for lemonade and cold brew. Will definitely be back to get a taste of their ice cream."
"I was first introduced to this cake shop years ago by a co-worker who adores this place, and since then I've been coming here off and on when I feel like..."
