"On an impromptu cruise in the jeep, we saw this cute little diner called flows in cherry valley.So we decided to stop. I love the small diner, small town atmosphere, Thai restaurants. They always have their little quirks. This restaurant had different types of salt and pepper shakers on each table.Like somewhere christmas somewhere fall et cetera... with my ocd I i know it is that our snowman would match perfectly with the peppermint. Candy on the other table so I simply switched the pepper shakers.I made sure they were both pepper. MARIA had happened to come outside.Just as I was doing that, she gave me a weird look.And I said, I was just putting christmas together. Next thing I know she is coming out and gathering all the condiments and shakers on every table. My friend had ordered waters for us. Well, I was using the restroom. They did not have any soap in the restroom. So when I left the restroom, I thought it would be polite to let them know that they needed to refill their soap. Guess who I told that information to yep, that's right, MARIA. We decided to dine outside and when MARIA came out to take our order, we had decided that we were going to take it to go. They had already set the silverware for us at the table, when my friend had ordered water. When we informed her, we wanted our order to go. She replied. "Oh, since you're decided you're not eating here.Then, I guess I'll take these away" and took away our silverware by reaching over me. The part that bugs me was absolutely in the way she said it! My friend isn't as sensitive as I am but he even agreed that the situation was not copacetic. Remember we had ordered water at least five minutes prior still, no water after she had made several trips outside. We were waiting for almost twenty minutes. When MARIA, made that statement, I instantly lost my appetite and I decided not to order anything. So if I could give 0 stars, I would. The only reason why I gave 3 stars on atmosphere. Because it seems like it would be a cool place if MARIA changes her attitude or gets replaced. Thanks again MARIA, From the Girl in the Silver Jeep 🫡"

"First visit. Not super busy but it took awhile for food to come out. Worth the wait, daily soup, lunch specials and fried chicken were so good! Waitress was friendly and attentive, her suggestions were great! Standard diner fare done well and reasonable prices. The guy who seated us got drink orders wrong, didn’t deduct for his mistake…but will return and maybe not order drinks until ordering meal with waitress?"

"Super homey diner with the kindest staff who takes real good care of you. Large generous portions of food that tastes like home cooking without you having to cook. Got the waffle combo ($17) and French toast combo ($17) and the pies were really tasty too!"
