What People Are Saying
from Google"First and last time here. I stopped in around 9:10am on a Saturday, it wasn’t busy, but the service felt rushed and dismissive from the moment I walked in. I’ve worked in customer service for 30+ years, so I understand that the food industry can have a fast-paced, high-urgency style. However, there’s a difference between urgency and making a guest feel like a bother. When I raised my concerns, the response I received was: “Working in kitchens and in the food industry instills a bit of a high-urgency communication style that might seem hostile to the outside eye, so we apologize for that perception.” It wasn’t just a “perception” the interaction genuinely felt unwelcoming. Coffee was great, but quality service is equally important. Once my coffee was placed on the table, there was no thank you and no eye contact. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning."
"Small business with quality coffee and friendly service! They have a variety of pan dulce which is absolutely delicious as well - def made a regular out of me."
"Well let me start by saying that this is definitely no Starbucks. The coffee is bad 🤢. The pastry is bad 🤮. And the barista looked at me weird. I wouldn't recommend this little place to anyone. Why go here when there are many way better coffee places in San Diego."
"Guy makes you feel like you are bothering him clearly does not know how to provide good customer service."
"Terrible service. From the moment we arrived, the guy ignored us until we asked for coffee, and then they treated us terribly. It's not a coincidence that he smiled at those who spoke English, but treated us badly simply because we did not"
