from Google"Great coffee in Claremont recommended by a local friend. College vibes. Sophisticated craft coffee. Flat white was good texture. Tho they made a mistake on which beans I asked for. Latte and Matcha were both great. Croissants good. Ambience is good. Lines were long but for a reason."
"Long wait for drinks but worth the wait. I waited about 26 mins of being in line and receiving my drink. I ordered the Courageous Iced and it was so smooth. Wish it came in larger sizes. The ambiance is hipster and trendy. I went here on a Thursday morning around 8:15am. They have indoor and outdoor tables. It was busy and luckily an outside table was available. Courageous: 4.5/5 (smooth and perfect sweetness)"
"One of my all time favorite coffee shops! They do everything well; From coffee roasting to interior design to delicious & unique drinks. I have watched this place grow over the years and they just keep getting better and better. They have an amazing staff that is really invested and genuinely cares about your experience. The quality of all of their menu items are top notch. For sure the best espresso tonic I have ever tasted. Would love to see this team open more locations and expand the footprint of their roasting. The very best all around."
"Really enjoyed this spot. The coffee menu was pretty unique. Some of the most latte options I’ve seen listed at a cafe. We got the Kind Hearted and the Worthy lattes. Both were extremely balanced, made with high quality in house crafted syrups(as far as I could tell), and perfectly foamed milk that was light but creamy. We also got the Birria burritos, which for a coffee shop I was pleased with. They’re skinny griddle pressed burritos so they’re easy to manage and not messy. Wish the Birria had a little more flavor to it but the salsa that came with them was actually very good for a coffee shop. I got my order to go but from what I saw, there was ample room for you sit and enjoy your beverages inside and if somehow all that table space was used up, their were some more tables just outside their entrance inside the packing house the shop is located within. Highly recommend this spot. I’ll be back again when in the area someday."
"Went here with my wife and daughter, and the first thing we saw was the line. It was straight-up Disneyland status. We thought there was an event going on we were unaware of but people in line told us it’s always like this, but worth it. So we waited a good 35 minutes, and honestly, they weren’t lying. We grabbed two iced affirmation lattes: Worthy (brown sugar, vanilla, figs, and black pepper) and Courageous (bourbon, brown sugar, organic cream, and pink salt). The Worthy is smooth and a little less sweet, while the Courageous has more punch and depth. Both were excellent. In fact, they affirmed my belief that I’ll be back. ;) Inside was lively. They even had a DJ spinning music, but don’t expect to find a seat unless you’re lucky. It doesn’t really matter though; downtown Claremont has plenty of spots to sit outside the Packing House, or you can just stroll with your drinks. Food-wise, we split a breakfast burrito (solid choice) and got my daughter a croissant, which she gave the official two thumbs up. Shoutout to the staff, too. Despite the long lines, they had smiles on their faces and were kind to everyone that I could see. Long story short: yes, I’d wait in that line again. Iron & Kin isn’t just serving coffee, they’re serving an experience and it lives up to the hype."
