What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"So wow the portions are massive like what?? You can literally get one plate to share. I don’t eat much so this place is definitely a plate share worthy place. The waiter service is dependent on their capacity. They seem to be more attentive when they are full. Seem to cater to certain when they are not busy. The cook service is amazing. Kudos to the kitchen for all their hard work constantly putting out food fast. The butter or margarine they use to grease the griddle tastes a bit strange. The atmosphere is very warm and loud. Not really a cutesy breakfast spot it seems like just a place to eat but I do like that they have hidden toys to keep the kids occupied. I wish that they would open one location double the size."

"We love Batter Up! The food is always hot and fast. The servers and hospitality are always super nice. Be mindful on Sundays when they packed and can be a 45+ minute wait. I take that as an opportunity to run a quick errand at Target, Walmart, or Vons. Also, beware that the seating area can get tight and claustrophobic when it's packed. For my fiancé and I the average cost is about $60 out the door and I usually get a water and the Home Plate meal and he gets an omelet of some sort with a soda. Overall, Batter Up is one of my top two places for breakfast."

"This location is very small, jam-packed, and loud. Service was ok, Chilaquiles were good- spicy, no crema. The biscuits and gravy was not as good as I was hoping. Kind of lacking flavor (probably in the gravy- it was pretty mediocre). Probably won't be back to this location. The Nees and Cedar is consistently delicious (still small, but not as crowded as this location) so we will probably go back to that one even though it's a 30-minute drive for us now. Haha."

"Enjoyed brunch with our children and grandchildren. Had a long wait, but well worth it. If you are looking for delicious, huge, pancakes, this is the place to go. The variety of choices, the flavor that bursts in your mouth.....pure joy!"

"Great breakfast place. Reminds me of how all breakfast places were in the 80s and 90s. Great food (split opinions in the family)a and good people. 10 yr old loved the pancakes, wife loved the bacon and eggs, and I devoured the eggs and hash browns. Reminds me of the flavor from the old diners. Pricing is what I would expect with the rising costs of minimum wage, so no complaints there. The staff were excellent and patient with us. I almost wish it was a bit bigger in there but I get the atmosphere and think it would be too much if it was too big. If you want a good breakfast and don't mind a wait to get in, this is a great place to stop and eat."

"Really popular place and I can see why! The pancakes are probably the best ones I've had! Fresh, fluffy, and tasty. Also ordered an omelette and the..."
