"If you are a fan of gelato and you find yourself on Coronado island, you should swing by this award winning shop Nado is a sister location to the Gelato 101 locations at Solano Beach and Encinitas. It's a quaint little parlor just around the corner from the main drag of Orange Avenue When we stopped by, this place was packed, but we were able to get our order in no time at all. There is some seating inside the parlor, but you can also find plenty of patio seating as well There are a variety of flavors and sizes you can order ranging from kids to large. You can even take a pint to go. In addition to scoops you have the option to order a smoothie or a coffee Some tips: There are so many delicious flavors to choose from, so, sample all the ones you want to try and get a couple scoops to try a variety. While there is plenty of seating, consider taking your gelato to go and enjoy it as you walk around the very lovely and scenic Coronado island Cheers!!"

"Literally some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The chocolate mint was surprisingly spearmint, rather than peppermint. Fantastic, made fresh on site with all real ingredients. The toffee was rich and had lots of chunks of toffee."
