"Cute food, the kids enjoy the claw machine, but the atmosphere is dry and not very pleasant. My kids tried to interact with the employee and I’m not sure if he ignored them or not. He seemed disgruntled. Maybe some music or a fun movie playing in the lobby would help? It’s decorated to be cute and vibrant but doesn’t feel that way? We will return because we love them corn dogs, but we know what to expect."

"Delicious!!!!! The best donut ever. I loved it! Way better than Krispy Kreme. It’s not too sweet and it’s soft chewy and airy. It’s actually a classy donut! They also have corn dogs which I will try next. If you can not decide if you want a cheese or sausage for a corn dog you can get a 50/50 corn dog. Meaning half cheese and half sausage. Also, the corn dog has potatoes on it. Don’t deny Give it a try!!!"

"As a longtime fan of Dot & Dough and later Mochi Lion, it truly pains me to write this review, especially because I have a great deal of respect for one of the co-owners, Eric. However, I feel it’s important to be honest in the hopes that it encourages improvement. One of the ongoing issues I’ve noticed is the incredibly high staff turnover, which may be why I rarely see the same employee twice. This likely contributes to inconsistencies in both food and drink preparation. For example, on my last visit, I ordered a hot chocolate that tasted like barely flavored water—it was disappointing, especially given the price point. Cleanliness is another concern. During my last two visits, I noticed the tables were visibly dusty. As someone who worked in food service as a teen, I understand how hectic things can get, but a clean dining space is essential and speaks volumes about overall care and professionalism. I genuinely want Mochi Lion to succeed, which is why I’m taking the time to share this feedback. I’ve enjoyed many visits in the past, but the recent inconsistency, cleanliness issues, and staff turnover have made me hesitant to return. I hope the team can address these concerns and continue to grow—because when it’s good, it’s really good."

"Decided to try this place finally. We usually go next-door to scoops and tap but we thought why not try this place out! Made to order fresh. We tried one of their best sellers, the rainbow taro. It’s very different than a doughnut. It is made with rice flour. It’s fresh and hot ! It has a nice chewy texture ! That’s why it’s best to eat it fresh ! It only took a few minutes, but it was good - different than a donut but still good ! I would come back and try different flavors👍"
