from Google"Lovely new pastry shop/ boulangerie in Culver City, prime location and well designed space, literally feels like a French cafe, the selection is large and had to try a couple of things, the sandwiches are good, coffee delicious but the viennoiseries 🥐 are so so, especially the chocolate twist with a custard in it felt like it wasn’t backed inside and the lamination was barely there, custard tasted off, watery. Other than that the service was great and loved the atmosphere, I would go back to try something else but hope they’ll work on their viennoiseries."
"I went in opening day and it was a good experience. I understand that they just open so there was some things to work through such as the card readers not working properly. They need more signage at the entrance as the ordering process is a little bit confusing, especially if you got one of the deals where they don't tell you which pastries is applicable. There's tons of seats outside but there's not enough umbrellas so half of the seating is too bright/hot. The interior is simple, modern, yet definitely feels authentically french. I would definitely recommend entering from the entrance that is on the corner and not the one directly on Culver Boulevard, Since the line takes over that whole doorway on the Culver Blvd side It's nice having a nice French bakery in town. I really hope it works out well for this location. The croissants, breads, and pastries are all delicious! The prices here are very nice, and not too expensive! As a biker they didn't have any bike parking located in front of the restaurant which is something that they need to work on if they want more locals biking to their bakery!"
"This patisserie is beautiful! I’ve been to Patisseries in Versailles and Paris. Beautiful but allow smoking! Sweet Wheat is sweet smelling- no cigarette smoke! Browsing the different pastries was like looking at jewels in the jewelry shop. We tried their brunch option with a savory choice, a pastry and a latte. Just wonderful! Christmas songs in French was a treat! It is definitely a do again. In fact I signed up for their loyalty program. It will take many visits to try everything!"
"The vibes were immaculate. I went on a Thursday morning around 8AM. They opened Monday so I think they figured out the kinks or the hype died down. The $11 quiche Lorraine was rich, creamy and fluffy. The almond croissant stole the show compared to the chocolate and plain. The almond filling was balanced and you could taste the almond extract or whatever they used. I should’ve ordered a drink to enjoy my work from home breakfast but I was in a rush to get to a teams meeting. I’d come back for sure and try the other savory items. They had a lot of vegetarian savory items too!"
"Sooo many options for pastries, sandwiches and more baked goodies. I did want to try there soup as i didn't want to get if I didn't like it but the employee said I couldn't sample. I dont know...I would have gotten if she let me try it to make sure I liked. But I wasnt going to pay that much for soup to possibly not like it. The pastries we got were delicious."
