"To begin, I genuinely really love this place. Eiar Studio is a beautiful, warm, and kind environment. It's evident from the moment you step inside that the owners poured a lot of love and care into crafting such a great place, whether you stop by to quickly buy a drink or spend the evening there studying/working or relaxing. They put that same loving energy into making sure their customers are happy, that their drinks are perfect, their candles are divine, and that everyone receives a warm welcome. I'm truly so grateful that my friend discovered them and we've been loyal to them since (pretty much) their first $5 Hojicha Sunday. As someone who has had basically every drink on their menu (and even had some secret items hehe), I can say without a doubt that they are ALL very good. Also, as others have stated, you are able to customize sweetness based on your own tastes and the owners are very receptive to feedback! Overall, I think Davis is very lucky to have such a great place in the neighborhood and I know that I am very happy to have found them. Truly, Eiar Studio is a gem to D St!"

"This is very much the best place in town. It's the first cafe I went to that felt like they actually care about their drinks, their ambiance, and their customer. I have talked with the owner; the effort they put into perfecting a drink is unmatched. I tried all their drinks, and I don't want to be general, I deadass like all of them. Which is very rare, since I am very picky about my drinks. I love their dirty hojicha latte so much, and I order it every time I go. And the amount of really high-quality hojicha powder they use per drink is enough to make a whole hojicha cake! And the special coffee bean they use? I forgot where it is from(I think it's from the Philippines?), but it's delightful. It carries out the aroma of hojicha perfectly. I'm Chinese, and I don't like my drinks too sweet at all. So my partner and I ordered less sweet to no sweet, and guess what? Harmony in my mouth. Grabbing a drink and chilling out at the Eiar studio has been my favorite activity to start my weekend. We need more small local shops like this; we need those bright-colored houses to add more color to this dark world; and we need those drinks with love poured into them! I never really write long reviews like this, but honestly, I just love that shop. It genuinely gives me hope."

"It just opened in September but still had a couple tables inside and outside with people chatting or working. Doesn't seem like great ambiance to work as it's too small and brightly colored to me. As well, smelled a little like cleaning supplies. I got a earl Grey latte, and got to me pretty quick, but was $8 for a smaller cup. I asked for it to be less sweet, but I guess the syrup is just extremely sweet as the drink was still very sugary and didn't taste too much like earl grey. To be fair, I usually order matches and coffees with no sugar. This kind of place isn't for me, but it seems to have found its niche."
