What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"This coffee shop used to be called The Mugs and now it looks like it’s been brightened up with new eye catching decor. The menu does have a few new items that I just had to try out. The Outpost Latte is their signature and after my first sip I knew why. It delivers with flavor and the espresso plus if you enjoy cream top lattes then this is definitely for you. I also had to try out their Yuzu Tonic which also had a good flavor throughout each sip. Both of the drinks were winners. On my second visit I got one of their teas which was the chamomiles twin and it was called the Banquet Tisane. I love how they take the time to carefully steep the tea and with a timer so you know it turned out so calming and soothing. The service was great the first time around but the second was so so. Hopefully they fix that. They also have mug service if you dine in. The place gets a little busy so beware but definitely check it."
"Food - drink and pastries were really good. But I would like to suggest a vegetarian croffle sandwich like avocado croffle, please? We went here twice and it was always packed. So it’s a little noisy but it’s a good problem I guess.. We got the pistachio croissant, chocolate walnut cookie, and plain croffle. For the drinks we had outpost brulee, outpost latte and ube latte. They’re all good!"
"We came here to meet our friends for morning coffee. The place was nice and not so busy since we came early at 8 am. The service is like Starbucks type and nothing special on drinks, food and service is to help yourself. You pick up your food when called. You will clean table after yourself."
"i’ve been at this location since it used to be “mugs” and i am loving the new menu! it’s truly so good. i tried the fall drink menu, apple cider tonic, i believe and it was truly refreshing and sweet i loved the flavor. on sunday i tried the peppermint matcha and i was able to still taste matcha without the peppermint overwhelming it! i also feel comfortable asking for any additions (like more syrup/sweetener/matcha) if i feel like the drink needs it which makes me feel comfortable exploring the menu b/c i can adjust if i wish to! the only problem i have is it’s deeply unfit for studying. the chairs are tiny with no back support and there’s only like ~4 outlets. i plan on studying with my boyfriend tomorrow and i wanted a drink from here + he asked “do you wanna study at outpost?” and i said “no there’s no outlets and bad seating” and decided to study at his schools library. it’s unfortunate that even after transitioning from “mugs” the seating and outlet issue is the same. it truly keeps people out from staying there long :(. if they fix those 2 issues, i guarantee it would be a hot spot!"
"Their drinks are decent and prices start around $5.50 and up! For a first time visitor, you pretty much will be left standing around because no one at the cashier will greet you or ask you if you need a table. Not even a hello or how may I help you? When you get right up to the cash register, if you can find it since it's your first visit, then someone will be able to take your order! We walked up to the service counter where a barista was standing and he pretty much just ignored us at first, then told us if we needed to order then go to the cash register which was literally right next to where he was standing. Starbucks ambiance is fine and free WiFi with password access is provided. The public restrooms do require a code to access. All the servers seemed to stay behind the counter as if they are not customer friendly at all. I didn't like this vibe from their staff."
"Outpost Coffee is such a great spot to study and unwind As soon as you walk in, you notice how spacious it is, with lots of people studying or working,..."
