"Went to get the viral hot chocolate ! Only ordered one just incase and I was right. It tastes like the hot chocolate bags you can buy at the store. The only thing good about it was the marshmallow around the rim. Other than that seven eleven has better hot chocolate ! I’m a Downey resident and support our businesses but it’s sad when I see restaurants don’t put effort into their food or drinks. 3/10 thanks to the marshmallow rim !"

"I really wanted to like this place but feel like their staff needs some more structure/training! When I went, they didn’t know how to make the drink I ordered, or give a refund! A few weeks ago I visited for the first time and purchased a latte on the kiosk. My friend went with me and we were super excited to try it! But after purchasing- maybe like a few mins after the order processed, the woman working in the front came up to me and told me that they couldn’t make my drink because (1) barista’s shift was over and (2) they don’t know how to make drinks with espresso. I was confused but didn’t question it. I didn’t want to be a Karen lol. The lady was kind at first and offered to make me a different drink on the menu, but I requested a refund. I figured I’d just go somewhere else nearby like Dunkin or Mariachi Bakery since we really wanted a latte. She seemed pretty annoyed that I asked for a refund though. I don’t think I was being rude at all.. I was very understanding about the situation! Didn’t give attitude… none of that. Anyway, she spent five or so minutes on the register and I realized she was struggling to give me a refund. She then called the older woman in the back to help, and NOT EVEN SHE knew how to process it. I’m standing there for about 10+ minutes now and they end up FaceTiming the manager who wasn’t in the store. I wasn’t really listening to the conversation because I was talking to my friend but could hear them mumbling and talking to the manager on the phone going through the steps maybe. Few mins later they hand me a paper and said the refund would process into my account within a few days. We left the store. I waited a few days but saw no money return to my account, waited even a week to give them grace and still nothing. When I called the store, no one answered :( I’m sure they’re probably busy or maybe I possibly called the wrong number. But wanted to put this here because I think its important to note that: • They don’t serve coffee after a certain time- at least not when I went (and should probably put up a sign explaining that, and maybe fix the settings on the kiosk so customers can’t purchase a kiosk after those hours!) Not trying to say anything horrible about the place just wanted to share my experience- I see so many cute TikToks of their shop. And I’m a believer in second chances, so I’ll definitely give it another shot in the future and see! Aside from the situation, the place was really cute and small. Really warm and aesthetic. Parking isn't ideal (limited street parking) so I’d recommend parking in the Dollar Tree lot or the one where the Shakey’s is across the street, and walking over."
