"⭐️ Wonderful Local Roaster in Downey We were running low on fresh roasted beans yesterday and decided to try somewhere closer to home instead of driving to Laguna Niguel. We found Trinidad Coffee Roasters just 10 minutes away, and we’re really glad we checked them out. My husband called to see if they were open to the public, and he spoke with Mike, who was super helpful. He walked us through what they had available and explained that they’re mainly a warehouse that supplies hotels, restaurants, golf courses and a traditional retail shop. He suggested browsing their products online first to get an idea of what they usually have in stock. We ended up picking up Opus I, Opus IV, and the Ethiopian Gedeo (washed). The pickup was quick and easy, and we had a great conversation with Mike in person too. He had such a positive vibe,really friendly and easy to talk to. We tried the Opus IV first where the flavors of vanilla, lemon custard, and toffee really came through and it’s my husband’s new fav. The packaging is also really nice and would make a great gift. Overall, a great experience and amazing coffee. Definitely a hidden gem for fresh, small-batch roasted beans. Definitely this will be our go-to coffee roaster and really highly recommended!"
