from Google"This is my husband's favorite dessert place! Almost every Sunday he has to get the upside-down halo halo. It's so yummy 😋 Honestly all the desserts are good here. Especially anything Ube."
"Cafe 86 (est 2014) is a cute lil coffee, tea and smoothie cafe shop in Eagle Rock. It’s located in a large plaza on Fair Park ave. They have other franchise stores in CA and Nevada. Their cafe menu is compendious which offers breadth of coffee, milk teas, smoothie and halo-halo. Similarly, they offer pastries and sandwiches. Interior decor was aesthetic in a spacious layout. It has plenty of tables and chairs. Moreover, it’s naturally well lit thanks to their large north windows. It was my first time visiting this cafe, and ordered a hibiscus calamansi tea and an ube flan cupcake. Drink was refreshing and its not too sweet in flavor. Similarly, the cupcake was soft and moist with a hint of ube. Staff were cordial and affable. Prices were reasonable and reflects the market value of goods/services. Atmosphere was relaxing with a strong a/c and good music. Parking was easy given its in a large plaza. Collectively, it’s a nice cafe and I had a splendid experience. Overall, I recommend this cafe."
"I took a class here, so we took over the whole place. It was friendly from the beginning everyone was very kind. I tried the Ube Pop-Tart, I didn't have it warmed up & it was fabulous cold. The flaky crust is so buttery and the ube filling was really nice. I also ordered a hibiscus and calamansi cooler which was tasty and refreshing. I will be back. I'm entranced by the ube Pop-Tart 😊"
"Staff here is super kind and friendly but my drink just did not come out well. I asked if the Thai milkshake was good and the cashier said it was one of their most popular drinks. Great! Well either they made the drink wrong or didn't give me the right drink because what I got was not a Thai tea "milkshake" rather a frozen block of Thai tea full of ice chunks. A milkshake should be thick but also creamy, rich, and, well, like a milkshake. This was like a poorly blended smoothie with more ice than actual drink."
"I like this new location. It’s bright and quite spacious. The ube cupcake and ube tres leches are family favorites. The server was accommodating for an off menu request. She made a Nathan Palmer using calamansi juice and a shot of espresso."
