What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Very friendly atmosphere. Easy street parking. Service was attentive. Food and coffee was good. Came here on a weekday holiday and there was no wait for a table. Plenty of outdoor seating along the sidewalk too. I will be coming back soon!"
"This is directed to the ownership, you have a great place with a charm of the wood oven that creates the atmosphere of warmth, we need a place like this in our neighborhood in Eagle Rock. Your employees however … please train your employees in customer service. The attitudes are noticeable. For coffee to be bad in a cafe that serves coffee and pasturers is pretty rare, the coffee was all water and some coffee … watered down coffee … out of concern, on my way out I had a quiet conversation with the person making the coffee where they justified that what I ordered was watered down espresso . Technically they are right and Americano is exactly that but the net effect it was a terrible coffee. Hope this gets to the right ears. I don’t mean to get anyone in trouble."
"We have no complaints at all for this eatery. The house made bread is delicious. The danish is buttery and flaky. Orange juice is fresh They even provide a small play area for kids which I appreciate. You can also find some pantry items at the eatery. Strongly recommended."
"If you appreciate high-quality ingredients and well-made food, this is the place. I stumbled upon it by chance while visiting Pasadena and I’m so glad I did. Great food, great vibe, and kid-friendly. I’d recommend it without hesitation."
"I was a little disappointed with the food. I ordered the dutch baby and unfortunately I found it bland and flavorless. However, my partner loved the steak benny and sticky bun, and we both enjoyed the hemp cacao iced coffee (I would come back for that!)."
"Been wanting to try this place out for a while now. Finally decided to take the time to find parking - (had to go up the hill to find an opening). Good..."
