"Legit some of the nicest and most hard working people here. I got their roast beef sando on focaccia ($15.99), potato salad, and pasta salad ($4.99). They locally source everything and get things fresh. The sides both had a bunch of flavor and were really yummy. Sandwich was also not bad."

"Let me start off simple. My life revolves a lot on sandwiches and the content on instagram of those juicy delicious sandwiches being made and cut in half.. this was beyond all of that. The food was absolutely delicious and special with its unique taste and arrangement. The feta sandwich was one of the best veggie sandwiches I’ve ever had. So special and unique. The tuna and the specialty sandwich that was off menu ( you’ll have to go in to find about that one folks! ) were absolutely amazing with the right balanced ingredients that are prepped daily and fresh cut to perfection. The sides are a must have from the Italian pasta and the potato salad. The people were an absolute delight to spend time with. I recommend this deli to every single person that loves sandwiches and artisan deli meals. Absolutely fantastic 100% do yourself a favor and try this place. It’s 100% worth it. The drinks for sodas are 100% Mexican import and the coffee and teas are an absolute must have!!!!"

"Sandwich was fine, good even, but on the small side for me and coming in at over $20, I can't say this was a good value. Beef was quality Boars head and fresh bread toasted perfectly. It came with the little bag of chips (or pasta salad). I added a bottle of coke as they have no fountain. They needed 15 minutes to make the sandwich and at the time I was the only one there. A family entered and then 3 more, and they were standing and waiting the whole time I ate. Still no food when I left. There are 2 tables, one of which was dirty and 4 bar seats. Nice place, better for takeout. Friendly staff. Guys checking to make sure everything was good for me."

"A amazing Deli! The sandwiches are insanely well made. This Deli uses higher quality ingredients! Well worth the price and some. The owner is a very passionate individual who loves his family and community. They also have a very unique piece of artwork everyone should see. Today I had the turkey club sandwich on Bolillo poor sandwich didn’t make the drive home haha. A hidden gem for now."

"El Monte has now set the bar on how deli sandwich's should be made, with BOARS head meat and caramelized onions 💛💚 walked in today wanting a good deli sandwich, what I got was a homemade sandwich experience, with rosemary focaccia bread, roast beef, swiss and those amazing caramelized onions that pull you in when you walk in the door. Our sandwich was paired with The 1955 salsa & it elevated the experience, the flavors were not overbearing & it hit just right as if you were making it from scratch at home.
