What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"It's a cute spot located in a nice area, but...Let's jump right into this review. Tera Coffee is a family-run spot for freshly brewed specialty coffees like Vietnamese java, plus teas and boba drinks. What did we have - X2 Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade - $5.27 - You have the option to adjust the sweet level (low, medium, extra). There is an additional charge if you want to add boba. Pros 1. Adorable inside. 2. Variety of menu options. 3. Prices are reasonable. Cons 1. Customer service - blah. Aflac employee, no smile, no hi, nothing. Took our order and made the drinks. No communication at all during this experience. #awkward 2. Drinks are on the sweet side even when ordering the medium sweet level which is what is recommended. Would I recommend - maybe (on the fence), if you live/work in the area, pull up. The employee wasn't rude just lack people/social skills but that's my 2 cents and a nickel opinion."
"During my week-long stay in Los Angeles, Tera Coffee & Boba became my daily ritual! It's safe to say I was there every single day. The first time I tried Vietnamse Cheese Crema and wow, it was absolutely incredible! Seriously mind-blowing. And the sesame cream toast? Forget dessert – it was the best sweet treat I've had in ages!! The service was fantastic, always friendly and efficient, and the outdoor seating area was just perfect. I also loved that I could customize the sweetness level of my drink – such a great option! Highly recommend a visit (or seven, like me! :)"
"Came to area and needed my coffee fix. Did not want to go to Starbucks so I check what is in the area and wow am I happy I found Tera Coffee! Service deserves 10 stars! Such amazing people here. And the coffee is so good! We were lucky to sample their kitchen and tried their toast. So delicious. The toast was fluffy and light and had the perfect crisp to it. I highly recommend! Skip Starbucks and visit Tera Coffee instead. You won't regret it"
"I recently visited Tera, and while the service was exceptional—big kudos to the young staff member who was friendly and attentive—the espresso was a major letdown. It was clear that the espresso was not freshly made but instead reheated from a pre-made batch, which is unacceptable for a café that aims to serve quality coffee. This kind of preparation not only affects the flavor but also misleads customers expecting a genuine espresso experience. I hope the café takes this feedback seriously and commits to making espresso the right way."
"Came in after noticing this place opened up and felt like trying out something new Upon walking in it feels nice and open and the guy behind the counter greeted me with a genuinely welcoming and upbeat attitude which is always a plus Decided to get a Pink Perk Coffee and a Pastel Cream Toast The Coffee itself is nice, smooth, and not too strong, you sip it and it starts off with a slightly strong strawberry taste but then it transitions to a Coffee taste, but there's still hints of the strawberry sweetness there so it's not too strong or bitter, I would defo get again. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even like Coffee all that much The Toast is defintiely different from any Toast I've had before not just in presentation but in taste. In a good way though The Toast itself is just the right amount of crispy and flaky, complimented with the hint of buttery taste and texture but the saltiness goes good with the sweetness of the cream itself, though the sweetness isn't overpowering. It's a pleasant sweetness And the total for both was about $11.45 Which I'd say is a solid value for what you get Overall I would 100% recommend anyone go there for just Coffee or baked good instead of just Starbucks. It's different I'll definitely say that but sometimes you gotta try something different, cause you never know what you're missing out on :)"
"I stopped by Tera Coffee after checking out the nearby Lakers Team Store. This coffee shop is cute and quaint. One of the first things I noticed is that..."
