"Small spot, yet excellent food! Always greeted with a smile and the feeling that they're genuinely happy to see you. Food is always delicious- I'm currently trying to make my way through the entire menu. When I have out of town family come visit, I bring them here. "I love this restaurant. I had the Cobb Salad, and my partner had the French Dip sandwich. Both were delicious. I usually order the Joe's scramble, which is also delicious, but I was in the mood for a cool, crisp salad. The food is always delicious and very fresh, and all of their staff are very friendly. The restaurant reminds me of a very comfy and relaxing family home from days past. Mel Dog's Diner is one of those "must try" restaurants; you won't be disappointed."

"Delicious diner fare in a business park. It's a little off the beaten path but worth the extra drive. Mel-Dogs serves delicious food quickly. The restaurant is homey and the regulars seem to return quite often and the servers know them by name. The menu is large and varied with many familiar items."

"You never know there was a great breakfast in this area. Nothing around in this parking area but this little gem. Definition of a wholesome breakfast diner. The staff is friendly, portions are generous and food that just hits the spot. Rather on the small side and the wait can be long on weekends so get in early. If you're in a hurry please skip, this is a place to relax and enjoy the company of others over breakfast. Looks like an old school small kitchen as well so patience is needed. When the pancakes come out bigger than your face you know it's going to be good."

"Waited to be seated there was plenty of open tables. Waitress was unattentive and my chicken strips came out raw. When they put them back in the fryer they were overly crispy. Usually they are pretty good woth hospitality and service."
