"New favorite cafe to add to my list! First and foremost, the drinks are really great! My husband ordered a mocha (he said it’s the best one he’s ever had) and I ordered a cane latte, which was absolutely delicious. You can tell they really put quality ingredients in their drinks. Additionally, I purchased their award winning Puebla coffee. They will grind the beans for you if you don’t have a grinder yourself. She asked me how I planned to enjoy the beans and ground the beans for my specific use. Overall great experience. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be returning soon."

"I came by for a cup of coffee especially because they serve pourover, and was pleasantly surprised! Not many cafes offer a pourover brew, and a lot of the ones that do are just okay. I really enjoyed the Obata and the notes came out very well. Definitely recommend Ilustre! There's also a lot of parking and the interior design is very clean and bright. It's a nice breath of life compared to most coffee shops."

"Ilustre Specialty Coffee provides a nicely decorated shop, in Escondido. An ideal place to enjoy a coffee moment to ponder and think. Today, I had to study (by reading several pages), and Ilustre provided the right ambience. The friendly staff quickly took and processed my order. The background music enhanced the ambience. The natural lighting made it easy to read. I like the large windows. Ilustre is also a pet friendly place. "Recently moved from the bay area, I was looking for a good coffee place and stumbled on this gem 💎! They initially had 2 reviews but the pictures looked like quality coffee. When i got there there was plenty of parking and the store was so cute. I would the atmosphere and vibe. I met the owner and learned they just opened last week. My sister got a blueberry matcha ice latte with oat milk. I tired it and wow 🤯 amazing! Highly recommend and I’m not a match person. I got a light roast pour over, it was excellent. Highly highly recommended this place, they exceeded my expectations and I will be driving back just for this coffee (I live 15mins north). Go and support your local coffee shop! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥"
