from Google"We came here for coffee for our group on 6/29 around 8:00am. One of our group is sensitive to caffeine, and they had just ran out of decaf espresso. But they offered to grind some fresh decaf French roast for her instead. Her drink turned out delicious! The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. They were very warm and welcoming. We had a great experience and left with delicious drinks! My Mexican mocha was the best I’ve ever had."
"They squished the heck out of my bagel, and it's barely toasted... I mean just look at it! Plus... The service was not great. Barista was rude and kept staring at me. They asked for my name for my order, and in small places like this I usually prefer to avoid giving my name due to gender troubles... She refused and said that they NEEDED a name for the order. Uncomfortable! Not a single smile from her either....I work retail and I know it's hard to put on a smile some days, but I felt like a chore to them today. Then of course when they called my order they didn't even use the name! The cafe is crowded and there are multiple homeless people camping on what few tables they have, and many tables and chairs are just shoved carelessly in a corner... And to top it all off, my bagel is like this. I miss the bakery that used to be here...."
"1. Upon entry as I order a damn fine cook/employee of whatever occupation he facilitates totally there, Diego, notices that I am wearing a Boards of Canada shirt and compliments it. NO ONE says anything about that unless I'm at a gig or an airport, so that he knew of BoC in the first place is an immediate 4 star minimum provided service is anything but terrible. Shout out to twoism.org and WATMM: if you're ever hungry in Eureka, somebody here has heard of the stuff we listen to. 2. Service was excellent. Ordered a Breakfast Burrito, got exactly that, staff was kind and the patrons very comfy to be around. 3. This breakfast burrito (sausage, pepper jack, eggs on flour tortilla HOLD THE CREAM CHEESE and salsa for $5.75) was as I stated, damn finely made and proportionately sized. This may have been the best breakfast burrito I have had in a decade. There's a place in Phoenix that makes one that rivals it but I seriously can only think of one other place. Props to everyone, sure the coffee is probably great although I had none, can say definitively the burrito was excellent. It was grilled too honestly to the exact amount I love, YMMV obviously. Five stars. Yes. Absolutely. Also, someone I believe may have been the owner came out of the shop and as I was taking a photo asked if I was about to do just this. I was even offered something for free my next visit for the review, which is kind if not excessive as they were getting a review anyway (though that is definitely a great gesture). Also also, I would end this review with a thumbs up and some quip about the coffee being good a la was Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks, generally do that whenever I go try a place that specialises in coffee, though I did not have any....so yeah, I'll just say great burrito. ☝"
"I love the convenience of this location. Right in Henderson Center, easy to walk to or stop by before work. Sometimes I call my coffee in and they will have it waiting, that is always super nice on busy days. The bagels for me have a lot of cream cheese but I just wipe it off, no biggie. The coffee is always very good. Sometimes they have specials on the boards, such as soup or sandwiches. Friendly service."
"Absolutely amazing cake. I'm not a cake person. My Bonus Mom raves about this place. While at dinner, at my parents, they brought out this cake. Let me tell you: this is a cake that would solve your family problems! Have cranky relatives? Give em cake. Have a moody teenager? Give em cake. Have a bummed hubby? Give him cake. Have a tense get together? Give them all cake. THIS CAKE!!! BY GAWD! Delicious!"
