from Google"I recently discovered a new coffee shop in town and was thrilled to see that it’s located right in Fair Oaks Village- and that it’s Old Soul Co.! I ordered the OSC Mocha and the OSC Chai Latte, and both were incredibly fresh and delicious. I’m excited to keep coming back to enjoy not only the great coffee and relaxing vibes, but also the charm of the village just a short walk away."
"Drip coffee was strong, but really good. Ordered veggie, quiche which was not good, mostly crust and some bulky filler. The potatoes looked yummy, but they were bland. We took them home, so my husband could "fix" them up at bit with, salt/pepper, bell peppers and onions. Atmosphere was bland, not "hip or country", just blah! A few cool photos, historic or otherwise could make the world of difference! Service was ok, but all the staff did was serve the coffee at the counter and bring the quiche to our table, no followup to see if we needed anything else, barely a smile when bringing the plate out. No, greeting from anyone as we stepped foot inside. The whole experience was not anything we care to repeat, as there are sooooo many other choices for coffee and/or food in Fair Oaks and nearby neighborhoods. Maybe with a little more effort, it could be better received. And, after reading the owner/managers response to other reviews, that clenched it...(rude) we won't be back and won't recommend to friends or colleagues in our circle!!"
"After Bad Fish abruptly shut down, we were quite disappointed to lose one of our favorite coffee shops and expected it to stay vacant for a while. I’m very pleased to have an Old Soul location open so quickly thus side of town open. The remodel is on brand with the other Old Soul locations and makes the space open and airy. Plenty of patio space and room inside to settle down. My latte was lovely, staff was friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to trying out more of the offerings in the near future. Welcome to the Village!"
"This was my first time visiting this location and it will definitely be the last. There’s truly nothing worse than being made to feel like you are an irritation just for walking through the door to place an order for a latte. I am looking for a local coffee shop other than Starbucks to spend my money and unfortunately, it just felt like I wasted ten bucks on an “ok” drink. Had the service been half way decent it wouldn’t have been worth noting, but it wasn’t. I’m not a coffee snob and I don’t expect any special treatment. At least PRETEND like you like what you’re doing and you don’t hate customers. *Based on your super condescending and not clever in any way responses, it will be no shock to see your location closed in the near future. There’s a saying “the fish rots from the head down”. Crappy leadership results in crappy staff. You’re obviously the reason for the horrible service. You’ve made it acceptable among staff. I’ll gladly spend $10 on a latte if it’s good. You can’t even teach your employees how to do that right, though. Wonder what’s gonna move in that spot next? Can’t come soon enough."
"I've had the salmon bagel and salmon breakfast biscuit, and both were superb. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and bright. The biscuits looked, smelled, and tasted fresh out of the oven, crispy, flaky, buttery, fluffy. The cortado and drip coffees I've ordered: also excellent. All times I've been in, I have been met with smiling faces and accommodations for dietary restrictions. I love that I have this place to hang with my dog, or do work, or have breakfast"
