"This restaurant used to be great, which makes the recent experiences extremely disappointing. Over the last couple of visits, the service has gone downhill badly—some of the worst we’ve experienced in Folsom and the surrounding area. Today, while we were technically greeted, given menus, and water, it was done without any warmth or friendliness. We stood at the entrance for a moment with two waitresses nearby, and neither made eye contact or offered a welcoming hello. The interaction felt forced and uncomfortable from the start. After being seated, we were essentially ignored. The restaurant was nearly empty with only three tables total, yet there was no attentiveness or follow-up. No sense of hospitality at all. This is the second time in about a month we’ve experienced the same level of poor service, so this doesn’t feel like an off day—it feels like the new normal. It’s really unfortunate to see a place that once had genuinely good service fall this far. Sadly, we won’t be returning."

"Our family used to have breakfast at the mimosa house regularly. The last three times we’ve visited the service has been HORRIBLE! After getting seated it has taken over 15 minutes for a server to even come by our table. Today we decided to give it one more try. Walked in, not acknowledged. After we sat down we waited 15 minutes for someone to come by. We were one of three tables occupied and one person at the bar. Two servers working. We finally gave up and just got up and walked out. This restaurant has lost our business forever."

"Came for brunch on a Monday, so the place was ours. Enjoyed their cinco de mayo menu. They really need to put that tamale into the regular rotation, it was excellent."

"This place has gone downhill in the past year. The food is hit or miss, which is probably why it's dead everytime we visit. The servers are nice, but don't really pay attention to you after the food is brought out, even if the order comes out wrong The food never tastes fresh anymore. The oil always tastes rancid. Bacon cooked to burnt. Fruit tastes like it's been sitting for several days. Note to servers- when you're steaming black coffee to save yourself from making a fresh pot, that's just poor service. No one likes watery coffee that's luke warm, and tastes a day old."
