"Lovely cafe and very sweet employee… but the confetti cake with Oreo buttercream we picked out for my son’s birthday fell short of our expectations. The frosting was rock hard and the cake was dry. I’ve had better cakes from Ralph’s and Costco. Very disappointed that we wasted $45 on a cake and 3/4 of it was thrown out."

"My husband and I were incredibly impressed with our wedding cake. Neither of us enjoy cake, and actually found it difficult to decide which flavors and fillings to choose. The buttercream we chose is a little different from other types of buttercream; it’s whipped and stabilized, and less sweet than traditional buttercream frostings. The result was a perfectly delicate sweetness that wasn’t overpowering. The piping technique was gorgeous and uniform, and was exactly what we were envisioning for our cake. The cake itself was moist, but not overly dense, or overly spongy. The ratio of frosting, filling and cake was fantastic. Customer service was extremely professional, and patient with us. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cake for a special occasion. My only qualm is the price point would typically be outside of my range, although if you’re looking for high quality desserts, and have the funds, Pretty Sweet is the way to go."

"Love the name of this shop! We got a few Macaroons, pretty tasty and the texture was on point! We also got the pumpkin cheesecake, which was good, but the cheesecake was pretty moist. The crème brûlée was fair, however the top was a bit over torched. In all, I would try other deserts here!"

It was cute but all of my guests took one bite and trashed the rest. $150 for a cute pic isn't worth it. The owner is also incredibly rude and never apologized, and continues to blame me for not being able to bring the cake all the way back to Folsom."
