The chicken is packed with flavor, tender (not dry at all!) and the steak is juicy & melts in your mouth. 🍞 The toast? Absolutely delicious. I swapped the mashed potatoes for rice and it was a great choice. 🥪🍟 The chicken sandwich with steak fries was also really good! "This place is so classic. I’ve been coming here since I’ve been a kid and the same manager still runs the place. That’s pretty awesome. The food is consistently good and when I visit my mom, we always come here to eat. The clam chowder is good And I usually get the steak dinner. This restaurant is the pillar of Fontana. it is a classic landmark. I hope it stays open forever."

"If you grew up in the IE you pretty much know about this place. With only two locations, one in San Bernardino and this one, this was the place to go to grab good food at a budget price growing up. Prices are still reasonable with most lunches costing between 7-11 bucks and they include a side salad or soup and a drink. Staff is friendly and food is always good."

"Okay. I thought this place was for old fogies but but I liked it ha! They close at 9:00 now. They used to close at 6:00 so that's a good thing right? Okay good so anyways they have really good hamburgers there. My kids all love the cheeseburger cheeseburger cheeseburgers. It's kind of like a cafeteria style. Let me explain. You look at the menu. Decide what you want to eat. Tell the girl in the front. The dinners that we got came with a side dish two side dishes so you get the cheeseburger. You can have mashed potatoes or some other stuff. Potatoes or french fries or vegetables and a salad or a soup. That's the dinner that's about $14.99 which is not bad at all. And if you don't want the soup and the salad, you can have the lunches served all day for $11.99 something like that go to the little line with your tray. They serve you of your soup or your salad depending on which one you want. They had clam chowder that day and minestrone soup but we all had the salad. And you passed to the desserts. You can grab one of those. And of course your drinks because your meal comes with the drink which is great. And you can refill as many times as you want because you get up and do it yourself. Or you can have the guy who's the attendant who's there? And I mean you know if you want to leave a tip you ask him to do things for you and he'll do it for you duh sorry okay. Sorry I don't have any pictures but the burgers were humongous double patties and and they had the sauce on the side which you do want use because it's fantastico and there you are. We spent a good 2 hours there. Chatting and eating slow and just enjoying the evening. It's a good place to eat its it's really fun. Everybody is very nice. Service is great. The food is good and the bathrooms are clean. There is plenty of places for you to sit. It's pretty nice place to have a party. If you want to have a party. They have like a lounge room in the back where you can rent out. I think I'm not sure you'll have to ask them cuz I'm just talking all right. Enjoy!"
