from Google & Yelp"I had heard about this place, but visited recently with friends. After dinner we felt like having the tea in the earthen glass and hence we came here. It's a very busy place and I was surprised that this is open till late night or almost 24/7 this is open. They have many different types of tea and it's interesting how the flavours come close to based on which tea you have ordered. I ordered saffron tea and I could feel the freshness of saffron in each sip that I took from the earthen glass or say kullhad. There's food and other snacks available but we only had tea and left the busy buzz place."
"It’s in a great location - in the strip mall anchored by a very busy Indian grocery mega mart. But that’s about all that it gets right. The ginger tea was flat - too much milk and too little ginger. It gets made fresh though. The corn masala was right out of the canned corn with very little to go with. Extremely disappointing. The ambience is sort of busy but poorly kept. The staff seems too overworked and generally given up. Went for a little pick-me-up, ended with long wait and a big let down."
"Amazing atmosphere. Went there on Sunday evening. Great menu for vegetarians to have small meet and greet. We ordered Masala Chai, Saffron Chai, Bun Maska and Peri Peri Burger. Chai was okay, Deccan Morsels nearby has better Chai but their Bun Maska has egg but the one at Chaiwala Shop is eggless and really tasty. The Peri Peri Burger was great as well. Will definitely visit again"
"We headed to Chaiwala Shop right after visiting Chandini Chowk. They offer a fantastic selection of desi vegetarian dishes, including snacks, kullad pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, Maggi, pasta, shakes, chai, and coffee. We tried the Peri Peri Veggie Burger and Penne White Sauce Pasta, both of which were delicious. One suggestion for improvement would be to avoid serving the hot pasta in a black plastic to-go box for dine-in customers; it’s too hot to be served that way. I’m not sure what the reasoning is behind it, as the portion sizes aren’t so large that people need to take them to-go. I noticed the pasta was cooked in a healthy stainless steel pan, so it seems odd to serve it in a to-go box. Overall, all the dishes tasted great. If they maintain the quality and flavor, they have a bright future ahead!"
"Loved the chai in Kulhad - we tried both ginger and cardamom tea. And then there was masala Maggie, very yummy. Think of a tea time snack and come to chaiwala!"
"Came here for brunch. It's one of my boyfriend's favorite places to get some coffee. He recommended me to try this restaurant because they have their own..."
