What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Having been to the cafe, I precisely got when people said it's such a warm welcoming neighborhood cafe. Sitting there for awhile I could see many of the visitors seemed to be regulars. Prolly one factor was it dis sell several stuffs including water and infused water. The space was nothing fancy but cozy enough to hang. They did seem to build community out of the cafe itself. Besides the regulars, they did have some house specialties, from which I got to try the Maple Brown Sugar Latte. Strong coffee well paired to the house made syrup. Sounded simple yet I did really enjoy it. Prolly the only one downside was dairy alternative milk was tad pricey at $1.5 extra charge."
"Got the peach cobbler matcha and the rosemary fig latte (both with oat milk). I will say that the matcha is crisp and smooth, the roast for coffee seems to be dark. The peach cobbler tastes like real peach and has cinnamon spice notes that bring the feel of proper crumble! Syrups are definitely homemade and I would compare the craftsmanship to Flatwhite Coffee. It was done in less than 5 minutes but done well! The drinks were not even lukewarm (proper iced!) And even though strongly flavored--it is balanced and you can taste both the matcha and coffee. Was so excited due to matcha quality from initial inspection that both drinks were immediately mixed and sipped. Ratio for both (2 different sizes) was balanced, so definitely op for the bigger size! Typical coffee and matcha shops just add more milk but not here! Owner (who's also the barista) was friendly and seemed genuine. Will come here again with friends!"
"This place is 🔥 . I got “The Good Latte”: house made orange syrup with oatmilk and espresso which tastes like chocolate covered oranges 🍊🤎☕️🤩 and is probably the best and freshest latte I’ve ever had. They offer many other unique drinks like honey lavender, blueberry and peach cobbler matcha with house-made syrups. Thanks for the great service 🧡💙"
"Everyone who works here is SO NICE, the drinks are creative and delicious, AND they make their own syrups in house. I had to know more. This is what I learned from the owner: In May of 2024 Marcel decided to start a coffee bar in the back of his alkaline and purified water shop because he wanted something exciting, and he was always stopping on the way in to get coffee, so he decided to bring coffee into his space. He designed and built the cart out of his previous work bench as his now permanent pop-up. It became official July 2024, and he’s loved making house made syrups. I went with the Espresso Pomelo ($7.25) from their summer menu with a double shot of espresso over Italian grapefruit soda and ice, and it was the perfect balance of sweet, citrusy, and still being able to taste the coffee. For their coffee beans, they use the Montenero Blend by local roaster Caffe Luxxe. There’s plenty of free parking right on W Gardena Blvd, as well as a large parking lot in the back that you can enter from Vermont, and they have a large indoor space with two spacious rooms and a variety of seating options, from couches to benches. Their new fall menu is launching next week, so we will be sure to be back!!"
"I traveled here for only a day on the way to San Diego, but I needed coffee right away after I landed. I came here to Good Coffee because of the description and the high reviews, and I’m glad I did! I got their iced maple brown sugar latte with oat milk. Not only did it look pretty, but it was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, the man was friendly, and the service was quick on a Saturday morning. Next time I’m in this area, I plan to stop by again! The parking was not what I was used to, but I was able to find a spot nearby and walk over."
"Ooooooo the drinks, the vibes, EVERYTHING was GIVING at this spot! If I'm not mistaken, it's tucked inside The Good Water and Market and honestly feels like..."
