from Google"⭐️ The Legendary Yellow Food Truck in Sunland Home of the Ultimate Philly Steak If you’re anywhere near Sunland and craving a seriously epic sandwich experience, Nickos Sandwiches is a must-stop. This bright yellow food truck at the corner of Wilson & Verdugo is impossible to miss — and once you taste what they’re serving, you’ll understand why people keep coming back. This place delivers pure comfort food energy with huge portions, fresh ingredients, and that “street food done right” vibe that’s getting harder to find in L.A. I’ve tried a few items here, but nothing beats the Philly Steak Cheese Sandwich. It comes out hot, melty, packed, and dripping with flavor in the best way possible. The meat is tender, the cheese is perfectly blended, and the whole thing is wrapped tight so every bite hits. It’s honestly one of the best I’ve had on the West Coast — juicy, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. Total food porn moment. The pastrami sandwich is also excellent — stacked, smoky, and super flavorful. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything tastes homemade and carefully prepared, even though it’s coming from a food truck. A quick heads-up: order ahead. During busy hours there can be a wait of an hour or more, but trust me, it’s worth it every single time. The staff is friendly, the truck is clean, and the atmosphere around the lot is relaxed with space to stand and eat. If you love sandwiches, this spot will absolutely make your day. Highly recommended!"
"This is my first review and I felt I just had to leave this review. I was searching for a place to eat and found this gem. The reviews were great so I ordered by calling them and drove from LA which took about 27 minutes so our food was ready when we got there.😊 I got a veggie sandwich, a turkey pesto sandwich and the pastrami sandwich for my mom. My veggie sandwich was delicious, juicy and fresh! 🥰💫 My mom said that her pastrami sandwich was so good and juicy too. It was a big portion for us both as well. Gonna try the turkey pesto later. So grateful and happy with this experience. Thank you! 🤍"
"Food truck in Glendale with really good sandwich’s in big portion. They were good with being able to make mine dairy free due to my allergy."
"Not impressed w Pastrami sandwich. Bread was good. Meat had no flavor. Sandwich came w mayo which made it overwhelmingly greasy. Subtle was the mustard. Descent pickle. I won't be grabbing the Pastrami from this joint again. Service; showed they opened at 10am. I phone ordered at @ 1130ish and all I ordered was a straight up sandwich. They said 20-30 mins. In my head I said, "Cool they're busy, must be good." I get there and not a single soul around. My sandwich began getting soggy but was still edible. I may try other sandwiches if I return. Then I requested to get a lemonade. The guy tells me, "We don't have lemons". It wasn't even 12PM, with no line and no lemons. C'mon maaan! Hope y'all make it better."
"One of the best sandwiches I've had! Its so flavorful and a big sandwich. The bread leans on the crunchy side, but the taste makes up for it. I didn't realize how much I'd love green olives in a sandwich until I tried it. Order ahead by calling and if you order withought olives you are missing out because this is comes from someone who won't eat them on regular bases."
