What People Are Saying
from Google"Walked in half-asleep, walked out vibrating at a higher frequency. The barista handed me a latte so strong it might’ve been brewed with lightning. I asked for oat milk (since I’m strictly no dairy) when the fairy-like barista informed all their drinks can be made non-dairy, and I swear they milked the oat right there behind the counter. The ambiance? Equal parts jazz and mysterious emo-pop. The Wi-Fi was fast enough to question my life choices in HD. Highly recommend if you enjoy caffeine-induced existential clarity and baked goods that make you forget your body dysmorphia. Would I return? Already here again. Probably never left. Our town was severely needing what these coffee pixies are serving out to this community. 100/10 stars."
"So happy for this new coffee shop. I had cappuccino and a cinnamon roll. Cappuccino was deliciously perfect. I'd say the best in Grass Valley. Owners are super friendly. They also had a good choice of scones, donuts, lemon roll. It is 100% worth your visit."
"This is a cute little shop and the owner is very nice! I would say this is probably the best coffee shop downtown. I love a good mocha here but they also have something called a "Matchai" (matcha and chai) which is my new favorite :) They're in the corner shop next to Del Oro, so it's easily accessible, and I think I'll probably be a regular here in the future. Definitely will recommend to family and friends!"
"Gloomy Bloom is the only café in Gotham where I can sit in the shadows and not be bothered. The lighting is low — intentionally or not — and the jazz playing in the background sounds like a confession waiting to happen. The barista didn’t flinch when I appeared without using the door. Good sign. Fear is a language. I ordered their Midnight Roast. Bold. Aggressive. No unnecessary sweetness… unlike him. The latte art looked like a wilted rose. Or perhaps a warning. I respect the ambiguity. Pastries? Flaky. Fresh. The croissant crunched louder than a Falcone’s tibia. Efficiently baked. There were no clowns. Five stars. Justice is brewed here."
"Best coffee shop ever they had an amazing vibe. My drink was amazing. The owner while short made a giant impression. I would recommend this place to anyone with taste, because you’d have to be completely crazy to not like this place"
