"Brunch with a viiiiew. Came here for our anniversary weekend in La Jolla and we were so glad to have picked Cove House. Ordered the Traditional Benny and subbed out for waffle fries which was a great choice (duh). Also ordered the Seasonal French Toast and it was delicious. I was worried it would be mushy from the sauce but the texture was silky and indulgent. Mmm thick bread! The atmosphere was very open-air and breezy and we didn’t have to wait long for a table. Tough to find parking in this area (especially on the weekends) but just keep driving in loops until someone leaves. If you’re looking for a yummy, filling, pretty brunch spot in La Jolla, pick Cove House! Walk around the cove afterwards to see the marine life and ocean views."

"SO GOOD. I ordered the stone grab Benedict which had a good portion of crab, the potatoes were delicious, and the green chile sauce had so much flavor. We also ordered the crème brûlée French toast (superb) the mermaid drink was super refreshing. Will absolutely be back on our next trip! 10/10"

"Went for brunch with my mom & sisters after seeing the Sea Lions. Great location & no wait. We shared the Chilaquiles, French Toast & the Traditional Benny. I also tried the Little Mermaid drink, it had some sparkling water or sprite which I wasn't expecting but it was still good."

"Cute little eatery close to the cove. We ordered a spritz, the morning joe martini, the salmon avocado toast and a prosciutto benny. Service was very fast, our food arrived within ten minutes and the drinks even shorter. The space inside is a little cramped, definitely try to shoot for the outdoor seating for coastal views. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reasonably priced and quick place to stop in and eat around the buys La Jolla area"

"Breezy and light, with a view of the ocean, Cove House is exactly what people want and expect from La Jolla—but is almost impossible to find. If you are a breakfast lover like me, you can get brunch until 3pm (at least on weekends). Don’t expect to find parking (there is none). And they don’t do reservations, but you can get the full menu at the bar and if you arrive before 10am, you’ve got a good shoot of finding a seat or two. Dress warmly (hoodie or sweater) as a lot of what you will find is outdoor seating and it can get chilly by the beach."
