"Most of the cafés in this area had long lines from early in the morning, but this place still had some open seats, so we gave it a try. The interior was nicely designed, with green-toned walls, round tables, and even a terrace area. At night, there’s a stylish bar counter in the back, giving the place a trendy vibe. I ordered a matcha latte, and it was pretty authentic. The donut set was delicious, and the breakfast burrito was surprisingly good too. Overall, we had a great experience. If the floor had been a bit cleaner and there weren’t expired sauces on the table, I’d probably rate it even higher."

"I came to this place three times (each time on a weekend) and all those times there were out of donuts or just had 1 or 2 left 😊 and usually, the kitchen is closed. I learned my lesson, next time I need to arrive before probably 11:30am 😊 to be able to taste them, although donuts are not my thing. Hence 4 stars, as I wasn’t actually able to order the food there. I am giving this cafe an overall 5 star rating mainly for their ambiance, it is very trendy and really beautiful. Coffee is good, latte was excellent too. I value a pleasant vibe and this place delivers on it. Still have to try their food."

"$15 for this sandwich and $11 for a pistachio latte (yes 11 and I didn’t get it) is utter robbery in my opinion. I have lived in the neighborhood for 7 years and support many of the local businesses and cafes regularly. I understand increasing prices in the past few years but making a sandwich the price of a house!? Unacceptable. This is a sleepy beach community and not Miami. For a $15 sandwich I at least expect a side of home fries and avocado. Ugh."

"I went here during the holidays and the staff was amazing! I love their burger and their donuts are always amazing. I live in La Jolla and while a lot of reviewers here can be overly critical, these are the best donuts in the La Jolla/Birdrock area!"

"I don't normally eat donuts...LOL But this has to be one of my BEST donuts! And the espresso was fantastic too... I took a tour of the restaurant area and it was very cool too. Definitely need to go back for a meal."
