"We had Eggs Benedict. They were the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had, and I've had a lot. The menu was full of delicious breakfast items. With dutch pancakes filled with berries and Dutch waffles. The waitress and helper were very attentive and the coffee was sooo good I had to get a cup to go. The prices are commensurate with the dishes. With such a large menu you can find something for breakfast even for the pickiest eater. Start your day out right with a good breakfast from the Pancake House. Highly recommended."

"Our favorite local breakfast spot in La Mesa! We come here weekly due to the incredible pancakes, hash browns, crepes, coffee, and egg plates. We wait all year for the pumpkin pancakes to be in season. The plates are really big so we usually split one and get a half stack of pancakes for the two of us."
