What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Let the cafe hopping continue. Parking: There’s free street parking if you can find any. I parked in the private lot next to it. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s pretty quiet, so it’s a great spot to get a study session in. We visited on a late Saturday afternoon, and it was busy. Almost every table was filled, and there was a consistent line. Service: There were only two workers. The cashier that rung us up was nice and efficient. Throughput took a little over 5 min, which is pretty quick considering how busy it was. Drinks & pastries: 1) Snickerdoodle Latte - This contained brown sugar, vanilla, real butter, cinnamon, espresso, and milk. It sounds overwhelmingly sweet, but honestly the only thing I really tasted was cinnamon. Overall, I thought this drink was enjoyable especially for those who prefer their lattes on the sweeter end. 2) Heartthrob - This contained vanilla, white chocolate, cinnamon, espresso, and milk. The flavors mixed really well together. Nothing really overpowered each other. Again, this drink is enjoyable for those who like sweeter lattes. 3) Mango Matcha - This contained mango nectar, vanilla, cream, and ceremonial matcha. I thought the matcha part was okay. You can’t really taste the matcha after mixing it. The mango was definitely overpowering. 4) Chocolate chip scone - This tasted as good as it looks. It’s not too sweet, but it does get overwhelming. I recommend eating some and saving the rest for later. 5) Chocolate chip cookie - I looove cookies! Couldn’t resist trying this too. The edges and middle sections were soft. There’s a generous amount of chocolate chips, but it’s not overly sweet! Pricing: Average prices for a coffee shop nowadays. We enjoyed their drinks and pastries. I’d love to come back and try their offerings and hopefully sit and enjoy the ambiance, if it isn’t too busy."
"I tried a Nitro Cold Brew, and it was perfectly smooth, a real refresher on a scorching afternoon. Service was excellent, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Costs were reasonable and fair, making the experience even better. A solid spot for a relaxing drink."
"Nambah is an Indonesian word that means to add, to gain, to give. That said let’s begin this review. Nambah Coffee is a cute and charming lil coffee shop located in heart of Old Town La Verne. Its interior atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing with great chillhop music; perfect place to chill catch up with friends or fellow coffee lover on a hot day. Indoor and outdoor seats were very comfortable. Interior design and layout were well planned; the large exposed brick wall adds depth to the coffee shop’s personality. Nambah has a modest coffee menu and pastry items. Moreover, they sell merch and coffee bags as well. I ordered a Nitro Cold Brew. It was smooth and prefect thirst quencher on a very hot afternoon. Service was spot on. Staff were very assiduous, warm and competent. Prices were fair and competitive. Plenty of street parking. Overall, it’s a really cool coffee shop. And I had a lovely experience and enjoyed my cold drink."
"This is a fabulous coffee shop. Great for meeting up with friends, or getting some work done. Lots of seating and outlets for your electronics. The coffee is delicious (had the brewed coffee), and the churro croissant is divine! (I tried the blueberry scone first, but I don’t recommend it). There are several tables outside and a nice covered patio as well. Highly recommend."
"Love this spot. It has plenty of seating but I wish it had more haha only because everyone knows this spot has a great vibe + great drinks, so the seating can get taken up quickly. Sometimes the WiFi is good, and something it isn’t. Friendly staff and good music. Pretty patio connected in the front + doggie water bowls 🐕🐕🦺🦮"
"Stopped by Nambah to study and get some work done. Their pandan matcha was what brought me here! This cafe is located right across Univ LV and was pretty..."
