What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"This charming, family-owned coffee shop offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the interior, which is both cozy and inviting, making you feel right at home. The coffee I tried, an Iced Strawberry Mocha Latte, was delightful, earning a solid 9/10 for its flavor. I will certainly return to enjoy more of what this establishment has to offer. Additionally, the coffee shop hosts events such as paint-and-sip sessions, and they are hosting a pop-up event on April 13th. Overall, both the environment and the quality of the coffee impress, and I would rate my experience a 9.5/10."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home! From the moment my wife Debra and I walked into Padekwa Coffee and Creole Café, we knew we had discovered something truly special. This isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s an experience. The moment you step through the doors, you’re wrapped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a hug from family. The hospitality here is next level—genuine smiles, kind conversations, and a sense of community that’s hard to find these days. Now let’s talk about the coffee… WOW. Bold, smooth, perfectly balanced—clearly made with love and expertise. But it doesn’t stop there. Every bite of their Creole specialties was packed with flavor and soul. You can taste the tradition and care in every dish, and the variety ensures there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re swinging by for a quick coffee or settling in for a full meal, Padekwa will exceed your expectations. We HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food, incredible service, and a place that just feels right. This is now officially our go-to spot—and YES, we’ll absolutely be back (again and again!). With full hearts (and full bellies), Damon & Debra Jones"

"i came here during finals for a place to study and this place is perfect for students. the outside is very decieving, it looks smaller until you reach the back of the cafe. the ambience is amazing; there is alot of seating with a study room similar to the ones on school campuses. i'm planning on returning for their community events because of how beautiful this place is. as for the drinks, they are expensive however the quality of the espresso is divine. this speaks to their product and the staffing. the banana bread chai latte (iced) is very rich and the palette compliments the espresso well. it is $8 though.. but very high quality, so i didn't complain at all. i also ordered the avocado toast with an everything bagel. it comes with greens but i omitted everything except the salt & pepper but added 2 orders of bacon onto the sandwich. it was so good..."

"Great experience and service. They were super friendly. Their chicken pesto sandwich is delicious however would had been great if they offer it warm. You can rent their meeting room for $30 per hour. But if no one is there or has booked it you can use it at no charge. The reservation is to make sure that space is yours without any interruptions. The idea of coming here and playing with their board games or reading a book in their relaxing atmosphere is just a quick getaway. Great job."

"I tried this place on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. The Creole Latte was really good, not too sweet and lightly spiced. The Apple Turnover was also good. Nice flakey crust with a bit of a crunch. The sign said all pastries made daily, so I’m looking forward to trying the other items. The place itself was clean with pretty art on the walls. It had a modern chic vibe to it with plenty of space by the big front windows, but what was really impressive was the overflow room in the back. It had a mini stage, tables and chairs for patrons, a media system in place, books and games for people to use, even blank canvases for painting; though I don’t know if they plan on hosting art classes or just wanted to stage a look. The owner told me this coffee shop was curated for people who want a place to work, study, or just hang out and enjoy the moment. It’s clear the owner of this place loves having customers sit down to enjoy coffee, so they make great coffee to enjoy. I get the sense that this place is more than just having lots of space for customers, it’s also holding space for them. It’s small business, less than 1 year old, so I wish them success."
