What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"The interior of this coffee shop is really beautiful and thoughtfully designed. They have different areas, each with its own vibe, which makes the whole space feel more dynamic. I got the maple lavender latte (less sweet), and it came with orange zest on top... didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. It was so creamy and well balanced, with just the right hints of each flavour. Definitely one of the more memorable drinks I’ve had in a while."
"Espresso banana bread: not too sweet, moist, delectable. Coffee: really good! Space: bright, adequate amount of tables, and some outdoor tables. Parked on the street. Not too hard to find a spot on a Sunday morning. The area feels safe and pleasant for a little walk."
"Absolutely LOVED my maple lavender matcha latte! Reasonable prices at $7 for my drink. Laid back and enjoy all the sunshine. Seating could be a little more comfortable but I appreciate that there's plenty of seats. Will definitely come here again to study or even chat with friends!"
"Finally found a cute coffee place that serves the coffee in a reusable cup when drinking-in there! Such a relief, I hate the to-go paper\plastic cups which leaches millions of microplastic into my coffee and is a part of the waste pollution, ugh. The staff is friendly as well. They have a popup stand that serves vegan burritos and sandwiches, love them too."
"Rose Park is one of my favorite coffee shops in Long Beach, but I haven't had the best experiences at this location. The location on 4th Street has been consistently better for me. The service has been pretty disappointing here at the location on Pine. It's been 2-3 times now that I've come in during the afternoon and it's been nearly empty, but there's still quite a long wait to get my coffee. This isn't necessarily a big deal to me, but each time this has happened, the coffee quality has also been disappointing. One time, I ordered my coffee and was waiting for it while a regular came in. The barista stopped making my coffee and spent about five minutes just chatting with them, but didn't even take their order. When I did get my coffee, I could tell that the espresso wasn't dialed in well and was quite sour. On the other hand, I have always had great experiences at the 4th Street location. Their fall/winter drink—the herb and root latte is very good! I believe they also make their own oat milk."
