from Google & Yelp"Really nice service and good atmosphere, and great compliment to comic book store next door. Has made it much easier to convince my partner to take me to pick up my comic orders. Also didn't get his name but guy in the Gatorade hat (which was also sick) was super friendly and gave great service."
"Just about the best vibe of any coffee shop and gaming space that I’ve been to. The regular drinks will fit whatever specific coffee itch you have, and the rotating drink menu has stuff that is interesting, delicious, and (sometimes) challenging. It’s filled with cool, nerdy, and genuinely nice people. To top it off, it’s always full (but not crowded) with people playing games and having a good time. I’ve been waiting for a place like this!"
"i’m so excited to add this to my comic pick-up routine, and finding out this place was open was today’s best surprise! jolene is amazing and it was so nice walking in and immediately seeing a friendly face from revenge of. she had some great recommendations for unique holiday drinks and the sweet potato latte was absolutely perfect :’) can’t wait to head back"
"Love it here. Revenge of is a little noisey for those stimmy sensitive card players like myself so I go here now instead. Staff is super friendly and all the drinks are great. Wife loves the Basic Bish. Would order more baked stuff if it was vegan but just chocolate bars for now."
"It's okay. To me it's a boardgame-themed cafe. Instead of a gaming cafe. They do have some games and it's really new; I'm sure the place will evolve and they just opened. Very clean. The vibe seemed like a place where people can get out of their place if they do remote work. I think out of everyone, 2 of us were playing games while it was mostly cafe stuff. A lot of gentrified hipsters. They had some big booths with regular large tables and a lot of long tables with high bar chairs with backs. You'd need to bring your own card mats as the tables aren't gaming tables. I stood there for a while since the barista was by himself and a girl had ordered before. I just stood up there and waited. No real acknowledgement until he was done. So I just stood there to look at the menu. I ordered and the barista asked if I wanted my desserts for here or to go and I asked for plates since we'd there a while. He said they were still drying and I said I'm okay to wait and proceeded to try to still give me the pastries because he already bagged them. There are better ways to handle that situation. I felt like it was awkward. Cookie bags come 500 to 1000 pieces per box so 86-ing 3 to put on plates didn't need to be an awkward interaction. Not sure if I would come back immediately. I would probably wait awhile until the hype dies down. Maybe I caught staff on a bad day."
