"I came here because this place popped up under "gluten free restaurants near me", but they don't have many gluten free options. However, they do have delicious omelettes that can be ordered with a side salad instead of bread. Also got an iced matcha latte, which was delightful! Would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice snack/shared space to work for a little bit."
"The breakfast burrito is to devour. Love the texture and the crunch you get when biting into the hash brown inside. A bit greasy but very well served and rich in flavor. You could say it's a bit salty but complimentary and with the side of sauce they give you, extra points for that."
"BRING THE COOK OUT 🗣️ We’re here for the first time in LA, visiting from Chicago. Basil and cheese was down the street from where we staying. Stopped by and got bagels and they are so good!! I got the smokes turkey avocado with arugula and cheese and my bf got the bacon and cheese with egg. He says this is one of the best bagel places he’s tried and he’s very picky. There was a small wait but it was worth it, I’d wait again and can’t wait to go back! I also tried the honey cinnamon latte iced with oatmilk and it was made perfect! "Went to Basil and Cheese Cafe after looking to see what coffee shop had good reviews nearby. Initially, we were only going for coffee but ended up getting food too and I’m glad we made that decision. We ended up getting the honey vanilla latte (cold), bacon breakfast burrito with a chipotle aioli and tots on the side. The burrito was amazing. I had a couple breakfast burritos on my trip to LA and this was by far my favourite and I would go back just for it. The aioli and salsa really added to it and the tater tots inside the burrito provided a great crunch. Even though the drink is a crowd favourite, I thought it was just okay. Next time, I’ll just get a regular iced latte. Will definitely be back for the burrito!"
