"Just like some of the recent reviews said: Tasteless and too expensive. I have ordered from this location in person and through UberEats before. On Uber Eats they go by KTown Boba. Those times I had a good experience. I only order their Brown Sugar Okinawa Smoothie, so I am familiar with the taste, texture and consistency. Tonight on UberEats, I ordered two large Brown Sugar Okinawa Smoothies. Both with extra boba and 100% sweetness. Let me tell you that tonight they missed the mark bad. There was no extra boba. Matter of fact the boba amount that was in there was less than the standard amount. On top of that the boba was hard! The 100% sweetness was more like 5% sweetness. The flavor of the brown sugar was almost non existent. It tasted so watered out! Also, why was there so much ice? I asked for smoothies, not slushies smh In the end , I paid $20 for some disgusting, unsatisfactory drinks. Do yourself a favor; save your taste buds and wallet a bad experience and just go to Boba Time."

"This place is amazing. Better than boba time for sureee. I’ve been here a few times and it’s always consistent. Definitely not a hit or miss like other boba places. And the owner is super cool! 10/10 recommend."

"The server was sweet and patient, but tea is lackluster. Tasted more like brown sugar milk than actual milk tea... (refer to i Lightness of tea in images). Surprising since the server said all their teas are strong. I came home and brewed some black tea to pour in. ( sweetness should have nothing to do with the strength of tea unless they're pre-brewing their teas, which would be unfortunate) They only had one worker, so it was a little slow. But for 8 dollars a drink, I expect to have high-quality tea. Disappointing."

"Late night boba spot in Hollywood. Came here after a show and this spot was open until 2am. There’s a small free shared parking lot in the front. We both got drinks (matcha monkfruit and passion fruit hibiscus with boba) and I ordered some xiao long bao, which came out molten hot but deflated (all the soup leaked out). My matcha was good and monk fruit is slightly healthier than normal sugar, so that was a positive. If you check in on Yelp, there is a small discount. Chris (the employee working the counter) was very nice and friendly. Overall, a good late night spot for drinks/a light snack."

"Boba Zzing, you had a good thing!! Why did you change?!! You were one of the only tea places I know that offers monk fruit sweetner. Your tea used to be so good, but that no longer the case, it was pretty horrible today! So bad that I drove back to return the overly sweet milk with a barely noticeable hint of tea flavor! The 2 girls that work there were kind and polite and made the tea over again but even after multiple attempts to get more tea flavor I just accepted it and went home. Whoever prepares your teas should stop immediately! Boba Zzing is a HARD pass for me! There are way too many other boba options with way better tea!"
