"One of the best donuts in LA—Cafe Knotted Century City nails it! Originally from South Korea, they’re famous for their soft, cream-filled donuts, and now I’m a total fan. Service was fantastic: super welcoming team, helpful with suggestions, and fast even during a busy afternoon. Grabbed two drinks, 8 donuts, and 2 cookies—each one was fresh, pillowy, and bursting with smooth, not-too-sweet cream. The cookies were a tasty bonus too. Delicious all around. "The overrated reviews from tiktok brought me here and wasn't impressed. The best pastry was the oreo filling and the rest were meh. Nice atmosphere and disappointed at employee who doesn't greet guests as they walk in. Maybe she was sick or in a bad mood but at least acknowledge with a smile. I greeted 2x and was ignored. "This is my third visit to Knotted. Now that the opening hype has calmed down, I finally tried their donuts. Honestly, I wouldn’t waste my carbs and calories here. I ordered the Dubai Chocolate and the Matcha. The pistachio donut was great, probably better than most dubai chocolate pastries I’ve had. But the matcha donut? Just sweet bread with cream & zero matcha flavor. Hard pass. Service was just okay. Maybe it was near the end of their shift, and the staff was tired, they had uninterested look. And the price $12 for two egg-sized donuts feels steep. There are definitely better spots I’d recommend first."
