"Discovered this little gem of a coffee shop—Coffee Love Café—tucked upstairs inside The Last Bookstore in Downtown LA, and I’m so glad I did. It’s about a year old (as I learned from the friendly barista), and has a clean, minimal aesthetic with a focused menu of just five or six items—which I actually loved. Fewer choices, but done right. I ordered the Honey Oat Latte, and it was lovely—lightly sweet with that familiar oaty flavor and smooth, well-balanced coffee. They use Nicaraguan coffee beans, which added a warm, rich note to the drink. I really appreciated that oat milk was available by default, which made things easy since I tend to avoid dairy. Their packaging was on point too—no spills, simple, and very L.A.-chic. Sitting there with a good cup of coffee surrounded by books felt like the perfect pause in a hectic day. If you’re visiting The Last Bookstore (which is a must), this café is a great little bonus. Parking downtown can be tricky, but once you’re inside, the whole atmosphere is worth it—calm, thoughtful, and a bit magical."

"Touring around Los Angeles, we finished at the Last Bookstore, a lot of books and art, but the best part was sitting day em enjoyed a delicious coffee after a suggestion of someone sitting with us at the long share table. Our coffee became a hour conversation with the owner, who gave us, several suggestions to places to visit in town. We will be back next time at the new location."

"Coffeelove is a cute little coffee stand within the last bookstore in downtown LA. It has a nice setup with minimalist decoration. Coffee menu was decent. Female staff demonstrated a modest customer service. Hot Coffee was not the best even other customers confirmed it with me. Overall, it’s a nice coffee setup within the bookstore but the coffee was just banal to say the least."
