"Such a cute spot in the Arts District. The barista did a great job of guiding our drink orders. I was thrilled with our pastry choices, too. The server recommended the banana bread, and I was not disappointed. It was light and moist with concentrated banana flavor from the whole banana slices they'd baked into the top as decoration. The lamination on my partner's pistachio croissant was amazing! I did find my drink - the einspänner, double espresso, cold brew, dark chocolate, salt, cream top - was a bit rich for me. But it was great with some water to thin it out as I consumed it. And that meant it lasted longer than it might have otherwise. My partner got the saffron latte, and it similarly benefited from a touch of thinning out."

"Came here with some friends over lunch break. The place looks great and has a great vibe. Great tasting coffee. My experience with the staff was not a pleasant one. It was not so much that they were rude, they just don’t seem to care about anything. There were no orders in front of me when I ordered an espresso. I timed it and it took them 10 minutes to make it. They actually served four other parties after me before we had to ask where is our espresso to which someone said very lethargically, “yeah I threw that ticket away” with the most insincere apology. Was it the worst experience? Probably not. But considering all of the other coffee options within a five minute walk I probably won’t be going back."

"Found this coffee shop while walking around . It just looked different so we decided to walk in and try something . It has a modern take but it isn’t so comfortable sitting in their chairs . Maybe so you won’t linger for too long . We decided to try the einspanner.. I’ve tried a few of those drinks in other coffee shops. This one is probably my no least favorite . The cream wasn’t very flavorful and the coffee was okay . Great service though and presentation but wouldn’t return . The prices are just too much for something that’s okay . Almost 8 dollars for that drink. !!"
