Value: 5/10 TL:DR - Way over priced for a very plain and unsubstantial meal. Ordered the smash burger and substituted the side salad for potato wedges at an additional cost. Ordered a cold brew. The cashier who was taking my order wasn’t enthusiastic and didn’t seem happy to be working on an Easter Sunday (fair enough). Did not expect the wedges to be a small potato quartered… there’s a reason you don’t see restaurants serve large chunks of potato as “wedges”. It was doused in oil and just soft enough to be edible. It wasn’t seasoned and had no texture other than a firm squish. The burger was real disappointing. They call it a smash burger but it really was just a burger, no smashing of the patty. It was a very wet burger thanks to the heap of lettuce they added. Maybe they put the side salad in the burger? They attempted to season the patty but it was very light. Everything was fresh! Just kinda lifeless and super ordinary. Goes to show that fresh ingredients aren’t everything. Bonus point for toasted buns. Server who brought my food didn’t say anything or offer to bring anything. Nobody came back to make sure I was satisfied. Maybe the crew just didn’t want to work today? I’m not coming back. My two cents of advice is to cut down the menu and get real good at one thing. I’m not opposed to a $30 burger meal in Eagle Rock but you gotta at least try to make it a good experience. Paid $26 and change and gave a few bucks in tips."

"Came here in a recommendation from a couple of locals who’ve been around for 15 and 20 years. We needed to go somewhere quick and yummy. They have indoor and parklet seating. We both ordered the salmon plate. We weren’t super hungry so the salmon was just right. There was slaw with light dressing and not slathered with mayo which was perfect. device was quick yet friendly."
